Per BakedAp0llo
Shot package. I rest my case.
These people give bungie so much face. But i understand why they hate on the shottie. People dont mind being touched from Long Distance ( sniper ) , and they dont go Bitching about they didnt have time to react when they get head POPPED. Then streamers go defending the snipers and they bitch assness. But a shot gun is personal. No one like if you slap them or punch them in the face, and it leads to quick death. No one likes when you put your hand in they pocket and take they shit either. so i know why they hate but back to the point. This is mess. They hit the shotgun in one day TOOK ALL SHOT PACKAGE and nerfed Rangefinder I didnt hear anything about extensive code, then. But its what ever, i know its a bunch scary asses out here ...stay in the bushes snipers ...real men and women out here fighting !!!

Yeah, kinda seems like this is the obvious quick fix. Not only does it allow trials and Iron banner to keep running, but it also immediately gets this shit out of regular crucible.
-
1 ReplyWe all know by now that Bungie moves at a molasses like pace to change anything.

Edited by XxnatonxX: 5/20/2016 5:36:24 PMI am a bit salty, I enjoy trials on the weekends >:< However I'd be more salty encountering this glitch in game an so would many others.
-
Because it would affect all weapons with the perk.
-
Let's just say Bungie can be stupid at times!
-
2 RepliesStop don't touch me there, that is my no-no square
-
22 RepliesLast time they disabled the perk everyone lost their minds, they're trying to avoid angering the community this time. Of course your post is a perfect example of how some people just can't be pleased. At this point the community has grown so toxic Bungie is damned if they do, damned if they don't.
-
1 ReplyWait because of this there is no trials?

That's a lot of coding.
-
They would have to do a patch to the game to disable perks etc, which need to get certified by Sony and Microsoft . Can't be done straight away
-
2 RepliesI once had a Tripod + Clown Cartridge launcher... Wish i didnt dismantle it now lol
-
Agreed
-
3 RepliesEdited by DevinMiller22: 5/20/2016 2:38:10 PMDisabling a super perk or weapon perk requires an update on our side and bungie has to send the info off for confirmation and that takes about a week to get approved. Although it sounds easy it's not. They wouldn't have had time to get it fixed before trials and IB so they had to shut off the events from there side to avoid frustration
-
True af, not even funny how right you are
-
21 RepliesShould have just let Trials run and if people don't want to play it with the bug, they don't have to. The heinous decision they have made means nobody will be playing it, there's no real difference.
-
Looks like it. Turns out programming massive games is complex. Who knew?
-
Bungie logic am I right? Lol
-
My thoughts exactly.
-
5 RepliesEver thought this particular glitch might be a bit more complicated since it involves 2 perks and 3 weapons to proc? Not everything is black and white.
-
They also didn't just flip a switch to disable the super perk. It took a bit of time to do that even.
-
4 RepliesThey replaced the perk shot package, bungie already knows how to do this from a technical standpoint. Not sure why this can't be done again
-
5 RepliesThe fact that they haven't punished the players doing this glitch makes it worse. In the message they might as well say "congrats for hacking our game"
-
Eh. At least I can take a break from the Trials grind. I'm tired of nearly making it to the lighthouse, only to be slammed by an entire damned team where the damage tag keeps reading "Immune".
