Hear me out, before all of you get salty and start offending me. I don't want the whole last word to get buffeed, just its perk, not a lot but just enough to make it viable again. Ever since the new April Update, Ive seen less last word users every time. Say Im wrong, its okay. Ive seen youtubers saying its great, but they are using it wrong, they are not hipfiring but ADS, ADS works great, I use it again and melt. But the gun isn't supoosed to be ADS'd but hipfired. The hipfire dosent feel accurate but yet they buffed the accuracy and reduced the damage on its perk. That's my opinion, do you guys feel its good? Bad? Please Give your opinion.
EDIT: Some of of you are saying its good. It is, I 100% agree but What I meant is the hipfire dosent feel viable and accurate yet they buffed the accuracy. People have been relying on ADS more than hipfire that was the whole problem in year one, people on forums saying take away damage from ADS, or remove ADS from last word overall, the gun was suppose to hipfire not ADS

Edited by Exarum: 4/29/2016 2:52:58 PMHonest the extra damage never bothered me. It was the reliable accuracy when full auto hipfire at range that did. Getting a long distance kill like that should be once in a blue moon kinda thing. Last word was perfect in 2.0

1 ReplyI hope tripleWRECK or RealKraftyy can touch on this subject because they are the ones who know alot on TLW
-
3 RepliesGot pretty much cross mapped by one of these earlier today. Could t believe the range it has!
-
Yea no leave it like it is
-
TLW has been dominant in every single patch since the release (in 2014) except for TTK. That's over 1 year and a half of people overusing this gun. Personally, I'm glad it got tweaked because now only skilled people can use it well and not every single noob that picks it up.

4 RepliesLess last Words = More enjoyable Crucible

7 RepliesYou're setting yourself up to get offended buddy , this gun is still "majorly" viable . Maybe not from hip fire anymore but who cares just get used to ADS
-
1 ReplyThey should give it more stability as compensation for the lost damage
-
5 RepliesNo it doesn't. It's still a very strong weapon. A three shot weapon. No handcannon should be a guaranteed 2 shot. The ones that do only have a chance to proc the perk to 2 shot.
-
11 RepliesPersonally a I want the gun buried. For the longest time it made all legendary handcannons obselete.
-
3 RepliesWhy not just give it's damage back with inability to deal crit damage while hip firing.
-
Honestly since the main hand cannon nerf in the 2.0 patch all hand cannons took a big hit, even the exotics.
-
What if they gave the precision damage back and nerfed the rof when ads?
-
I get more kills with the neutered Thorn and Down & Doubt than I could TLW. I infused mine into a gun that actually works.
-
8 RepliesThat gun was broken for over a year. It should have never been in the game its a full auto hip fire hand cannon
-
1 ReplyIt's a full-auto hand cannon! Nuff said and case closed.
-
They took away the perks which makes it an exotic because if whiners who arent good at the game. Same goes for more exotics. Borderline bs
-
1 ReplyThey want to destroy that weapon. With every update they took a important part of that weapon.
-
How is it that they gave it An accuracy buff , yet it is less accurate now.
-
1 ReplyWhy so you can get faster kills with your sniper. LOL They nerfed it, move on
-
I think they broke the hip fire accuracy when removing the exotic damage perk(or did it intentionally and lied about it). Jon W has no clue what he's doing with gun balancing, he's trying to lower the overall time to kill but all he's done is make the guns feel inaccurate or bad to use. He's going at it all wrong I'd play Halo if I wanted a higher TtK.

6 RepliesIf the last word perk got a buff it would be op again. That's why they took the extra damage perk out of LW perk. It still does 75 to the head instead of its 101...it doesn't need a buff
-
It still melts. You just can't spam with it anymore.

5 RepliesEdited by Erijian: 4/29/2016 1:45:54 AMI don't really have any issues with The Last Word. It's still the fastest killing primary weapon in the game that's not No Land Beyond or Universal Remote. It sucks that the practicality of hipfiring has been neutered; but the weapon itself is great still.
-
4 RepliesI personally think it's fine.
-
2 RepliesI just think they need to add back in the extra body shot damage, this is a gun designed to be fired from the hip at full auto, head shots should be the last thing on your mind
