every match is too hard, i played 10 matches and finished only 2 of them with positive k/d
you have to fix matchmaking or else i'm done, this is a nightmare but im sure fun for try hards bc they get easy matches and rack up kills
Skill based mm or connection based something is not working
i enjoyed IB year 1 so much more
-
Probably not working because their not using connection based, it is the worst connections this game has ever seen to date
-
I have had good and bad runs in IB this time around and surprisingly the connection has been pretty good. Coming from someone who does not pvp often and just a casual pvper from time to time, I will say this.....control is a nightmare. I played IB every day with very few issues, but the moment I step into a control match everyones connection goes to sh*t. What is the deal? Over half the people are red bar in every match. So tired of shooting, grenades, hammers and melees are like mushy noodles being thrown at players only to have them walk up and smack you with full health, Then you have the red bar person standing at spawn point doing nothing. Fix this please.....:(

Yeah matchmaking is sweaty now
-
1 ReplySo if its skill based. Why cant you hold your own? Theyre equal skilled players. Something tells me you just suck at destiny
-
So I haven't read the other comments. But it seems what you are experiencing is skill based matchmaking. Yeah I don't like it for casual stuff. Trials it's okay. Maybe even have a Playlist for sbmm. Would this create a problem where a team of 6 people with good skill would dominate? Let's say your on the receiving end of this a bunch. Would people asked to be matched up with people of their skill level? Idk. I feel like sbmm shouldn't be so hard for casual stuff. So keep it sbmm but increase the range of players it matches you with.?
-
Sbmm isn't worth shit when you're in a fireteam, I'm taking it that if the fireteam leader has a high skill/elo rating then the entire team is placed into a match based on his skill/elo rating. Went in with a few friends that are good pvp players and I just got ripped apart, when normally I can at least hold my own.

2 Repliesit's still sbmm but there's something off with the connections, damage referee has a reverse effect it seems I have a great connection but for some reason I take more damage than I output people are tanking my shoulder charges and shotguns from point blank range my only chance is sniping
-
1 ReplyCrucible is unbearably bad. Pure cancer. Bungie you need to go back to how weapon types were back in vanilla and just buff pulse rifles, then it would be fun. And the infusion is finally tolerable but I still would rather have the old leveling system way more. I also don't like the decreased spawn rates of ammo. At least make special spawn sort of as much as it used to but it gives less. Snipers and aim assist is a huge mistake *cough* 1KYS *cough* Lastly, year 1 trials was better imo. Year 1 Destiny was the best. I didn't try Crimson days and wish I would've done more around the time of SRL. You should bring that back. #makeDestinygreatagain #hashtagsaredumb

7 RepliesYou're just bad
-
2 RepliesYou're so bad at an extremely casual fps that SBMM that STILL exists heavily can't even hold your hand enough to help you go positive more often. Stop playing fps'.
-
1 Replycare less.
or not at all.
-
Too much sweat.
-
No skill based matchmaking if you know what's best for you. That is the worst thing you could go to.
-
Lag central.
-
I still hate having to go in a join in progress when your team loses and expects you to make a difference and turn the tide of war. XD and especially making you spawn AFTER heavy ammo spawns in. -__-
-
2 RepliesYou think you have it bad? At least you don't have it as bad as I do.
-
You're right. I can never just have a beer and put my feet up for a good game of crucible. Tryhards are too abundant.
-
Sbmm is still attached to matchmaking.....you're just that bad

2 RepliesEdited by Natastrophe: 4/28/2016 4:24:40 AMAnd on this day in the year of our Lord 2016, absolutely zero fvcks were given about what you want.

14 RepliesDo you really care about k/d ratios that badly? Why? I really don't see a reason. first off its a video game just have fun. Also lately my games I have been playing, I keep getting my butt kicked or I kick theirs. But you don't see me complaining, sure this game is a bit messed up and they can't balance crap. But I'm still having fun. Advice pal: go outside get some sun, and just have fun with the game. If you care about k/d ratios go play cod
-
If you're not a "tryhard" you shouldn't care about your k/d
-
I never find crucible fun except for trials.
-
So other players are killing you. The problem again is? If matchmaking includes some type of SBMM then you should be coming against at least some players at your level. You will likely have some positive and some negative k/d matches. Over 20+ games this IB I am struggling to stay with a positive k/d. I think it has more to do with the lag / constant red and yellow bar matches.
-
Connection just -blam!-ing sucks fun seeing red bars every game.
-
2 RepliesGet gud scrub. Just because you get a negative kd doesn't mean you need to ruin the game for everyone or even complain. Just learn the meta, adapt and overcome. Simple as that.
