Why did it have to be prince?
Why couldn't it be someone awful.. Like Justin Beiber?
Dammit.

Prince is really underrated. Those first few albums of his he played every. Single. Instrument.
-
Bingo. He had little talent just smart marketing and showmanship
-
if you were a musician you would not say that...so it is easy to dismiss your statement.
-
-
Wishing death on someone because you don't like their music is petty as hell.
-
Beiber has talent.
-
That's what he tells himself..
-
that's what they say...
-
Some of the tracks Justin Bieber has put out recently have been good. He's certainly matured you can tell by the type of music he's making compared to his 1st few tracks.

Edited by Show me potato salad: 4/22/2016 12:17:52 AMYou do know Justin Bieber didn't actually write a single track on his new album? It was mostly Skrillex, and even Ed Sheeran wrote Love Yourself. You know.. People that are actually good composers. It's sad that just because he's the one who sang the songs that he gets credit for them, so there's no warrant to say his music. The kid is still a pretentious douche, and it's not his music that's maturing.
-
Word. people fail to understand that.
-
Edited by Show me potato salad: 4/22/2016 5:11:24 AMI even explained it clear as day, and the kid just took it as a personal attack against his opinion instead and still failed to understand it.
-
I like the songs because they've got a good vibe to them. My life is far more exciting and busy to have the time sit around nit picking at songs and choosing to not like a certain one for specific reasons. I'm not sure about you though, seems like you don't appreciate music as much...
-
Edited by Show me potato salad: 4/22/2016 12:28:47 AMWhat on -blam!-ing earth are you talking about, kid? Where on this entire gigantic planet we call earth did I say they aren't good songs???! In fact, I said they were songs made by good composers, which means they are good songs; they're actually fantastic. God, you are incoherent; learn to read. It's no wonder you think Justin Bieber is the one who actually wrote the music. I just think it's disgusting we appraise performers more than creators, the true artists behind the music. In fact, I think it's you that doesn't appreciate music very much if you just only appreciate the puppet.
-
Nope. I figured that you were just another hater.. Don't belittle someone by saying 'kid' and all the other shït you just said but can't remember because it had no impact on my life at all.. because once you start saying stuff like that you lose all credibility you just had. These forums are cancer. Just like your attitude. Muted and Deuces. :)
-
Once one uses the term "hater" they lose all credibility.
-
So ignorant. Utterly disgusting.

Edited by SuperTizNL: 4/21/2016 10:13:47 PMListen dude, Prince was a true artist in heart and soul. Bieber, like so many others nowadays, is just a marketing whore.
-
I never said a bad word about Prince. That wasn't my era of music. I still appreciate that era of music though. I'm not a snob who only likes one genre. I love all types of music, some of the recent tracks Bieber has put out though have been good upbeat feel good tracks with a good vibe to them.

Prince has been putting out music for 40 years. Yes, his major sales were in the 80s and 90s, but the music industry is so different now that it can hardly be held against him. He's had 4 albums out in the last two years alone. He tours like crazy. Always sells out shows. His halftime at the super bowl was MY favorite. Prince plays all his instruments. He writes and writes and writes. He was the only guy on earth that can wear 6 inch stilettos and still be "the man". I'm afraid that Beiber is simply a kid that has a decent voice, and is being cranked out by the music machine for consumption. IMHO.

Ok? Great. I wasn't born in his era ('95) or however you choose to describe it. (Really doesn't matter lmao) so I don't really follow him as much I do other artists. I don't need a lecture dude. He's dead and I appreciate how this is a sad time for some. That's it. Thought I chose the 'Destiny' forum, unless I'm on the wrong website. Hmmm
-
Wasn't a "lecture". Merely points of observation.

Edited by ExelArts: 4/22/2016 7:20:59 AMHe's a piece of shit the other guy should've kicked his ass, I hope who ever becomes president kicks him out of the US

I mean his music has matured. It's gotten better in other words. 'Where are you now' is a better more mature song that 'One Time'.
