how the hell are people getting 335
i ran the raid last week, with all 3 of my characters, i dumped it all into my hunter, i went from 320 to 323. i didnt gain any light on the segils.
i just ran the raid on my hunter(first character for this week) and went from 323 to 325. how do you mother -blam!-ers have 335 already?

Several friends have 335 characters and others are getting close. I haven't run a full raid this week but have gotten 335 gear to drop for me from other events. Faction upgrades seem crap. I'll have a 333 scout equipped and the last 3 faction upgrades have given the same 330 pulse rifle. My overall light level is 333. So I use the pulse rifle either on other characters or to infuse other things.

Grinding. Grinding the raid, grinding PoE, grinding nightfalls and making sure you always have all you best gear on when getting drops or decrypting engrams. Also pop 3 of coins and cash in engrams on your highest light character

Edited by hotmarl: 4/21/2016 11:21:04 AMI can be 335 on at least 2 of my three characters depending on what I want to infuse. Here is what I would suggest. 1. Always be the highest light level possible when getting rewards(raid drops, faction rank ups, opening Exotic engrams) 2. Power level factions if possible with heavy synths, motes, and materials. As I stated above as soon as you have a higher piece of gear put it on. Even if you don't like the stats you can scrap it later or give to an alt for infusion to help level them. 3. Run everything you can. Nightfall, Shaxx weekly, raid, CoE, CoO, trials. 4. Use boosters and run CoE, and strikes while using 3oC. CoE continues to drop class items, ghosts, and the three exotic specials even after the sigil is done. The strike have a chance to drop the strike specific items up to 335. 5. If you get an exotic item ask yourself if you are ever going to use it if the answer is no then use it for infusion fuel. 6. Remember to pass guns and ghosts to alts when ranking them up and infuse any extra gear into them before doing anything. I'm sure I am forgetting something I hope this helps. I ran several hours of CoE last week, probably ranked up 15 levels on factions across characters, and probably blew 100 3oC.

It's not that serious about light level now tell me you have . Long bow and LDr with hidden hand and quick draw also the zen meteor and eyasluna with luck in the chamber and range finder plus a party crashed shotty with range finder and knee pads . Then I'd be like WOW

Raid. Exotic engrams (strikes) PoE Simply putting your highest gear on before rewards will give you higher light.

I'm 330 and I haven't done the raid once since the update all ive been doing is using three of coins and ranking up crucible and factions not sure if it helps but before I open any exotic engrams or packages ive been putting my highest light not sure if it affects anything but its been working for me

Always equip your highest light gear before picking up drops in the raid, end screen in CoE, and opening exotic engrams. The light level of the items you get is decided when you get the actual item, not when it drops on the ground.

I think the smartest way was decrypting exotic engrams strategically (when a particular item was holding them back) plus all the normal stuff. I on the other hand, just done all of like 30 engrams as soon as the patch dropped like an idiot.

Exos, lvl up packs, coe, hard mode with challange. Thats all you need to do ;) its easier now and i like it this way/ways

2 RepliesUse your highest character only for all exotic decrypts. Infuse as necessary. Run Court of Oryx on Tier 3 for a shot at 335 artifacts. Run raid challenge for guaranteed 335 gear. Don't forget Gunsmith weapons as drops for ranking up are excellent. Ditto weekly Shaxx bounty, and Trials bounties.

For real. I've done Coe like 10 times now, best I've got is 319. So now my high light is 316. Coo tier 3 didn't drop shit, either.

I would like to know too. I was 219 bfore the update and after raiding and doinf coe these two weeks Im only 324. Even the artifacts fron hm oryx challenge dropped only at 325 and 327
