Tom Clancy's The Division destorys Bungie's Destiny
The only reason I have to be here at this moment is to rescue anyone who hasn't tried TCTD.
Destiny is so horrible in comparison.

Destiny just takes to long to drop content. The division and destiny both have there new update coming out on April 12. And division has another one set to release in may.

16 RepliesTo start, I really enjoy Destiny. I got the game as a day 1 player, and I played all the way through HoW. I took a break before The Taken King came out, and I just returned to Destiny again this January. So now moving on, most of my friends had been playing TTK since it came out, so they had their fair share of the new raid and were ready to move on to a new game. They were all getting The Division so I did as well to play with my friends. Once I got the game I played hard, hitting 30 in a matter of days. I went around the map and completed every single possible encounter and side mission. I acquired all kills and talents/perks. I maxed out all 3 wings of my Base of Operations. I then (with the canine perk) collected every collectable item in the game (293 in total) and got every achievement save for killing 20 rogues in the dark zone. I now log on every day and complete the 2 daily "Hard" missions at level 30 to collect phoenix credits and if my friends are on we will complete the daily challenging missions for 50 phoenix credits. This is all towards an endgame crating system that requires you to buy blueprints with this new currency. And I have to be honest, now after all of this time and endgame play, seeing everything The Division has to offer, spending ample time in the Dark Zone. I'm bored. The game is boring. No enemies are memorable, its all the same "elite sniper or grenade guy" over and over. Now I have noting left to do in the game, save for logging one for 45 minutes once a day to do my 2 daily hard missions. I know that Massive has a new update called Incursions coming soon but I really doubt its going to add any substance to game given what I know now. Just thought I would come here and share my 2 cents with everyone. Here's looking forward to Bungie's new content on the 12th. Excited to play Destiny again :)

Right now when you try to compare the two I think: Shadowshot vs. medical wing special Storm caller vs. security wing special Sunbreaker vs. tech wing special. One of those sections sounds more like "signature skills" to me. And I didn't even list all of them.

They're both fun. I still like the Jodo space fantasy trappings of Destiny over the grimy John Carpenter-ish Div. But I love both, I even bought the Div season pass

I don't play Destiny anymore (got bored). I had high hopes for The Division, and excitedly played the Alpha and Beta. While I appreciated the improvements from the Alpha to Beta, I did not enjoy my time with the game. Bored me faster than Destiny did.
