1 ReplyIt was only the high impact style shotguns that were an issue and surprise surprise they are still the only ones you see. I would prefer it if all shotguns had the same base range and ones that had a slightly higher rof were more reliable but with the high impact ones being a bit more consistent. That or just change all high impact ones to lower impact ones like they did with hopscotch pilgrim back in the HoW days.

Shotguns were never a problem until felwinters lie came around. Solution, nerf everything, problem solved.

73 RepliesShotguns still have insane range. Especially conspiracy theory and party crasher. Not sure what pvp you are playing. the felwinters was broken but in reality had barely more range than the 2 I mentioned do now.

Oh yeah. I had a max range rangefinder matador 64. Dirty back in the day ;) The best now is a party crasher with full auto and kneepads.

They suck compared to back then, when has too much range, now there great. Noobs use snipers now because they're terrible at noticing there surroundings. With a sniper you can get a kill or two before getting flanked, shotty need you to keep looking around constantly because your jumping into groups of people and don't have God range to save you anymore.

Feltwinter and other high range deserved the nerf......the rest of the gun set, however, did not. I'm not sure which I hate more, that meta or the sniper meta now.......they each have pros and cons

That is just.. Well, thank god they nerfed them then. I use shotgun but if shotguns could still kill you from that range, it would be horrible. It forces everyone to use a shotgun.
