Is it just me or is trials just too hard. Winning 9 games ( 7 with boons ) and no losses ( 1 with boons ). I think it is unrealistic for most people to go flawless
Maybe they should change it to 5 wins and 3 losses, so the more casual players have a shot at going.
This is just a thought. Maybe bungie will address this and change trials to make it more casual.

1 ReplyI will never get there, but i accept it also because there is no solution to this... changing it is just annoying those who got there legit, lowering the amount of wins too, 5-3 is ridiculous ...
-
6 RepliesIt's a fact. It's harder to go flawless on Xbox. The percentage of better players is much higher. As good as kraftyy is at double carries I dont think he would be as successful on Xbox.
-
8 RepliesI don't even play that much but I've still gone flawless, they shouldn't change anything it's supposed to be a challenge.
-
2 Replies5 wins lol i would go flawless without even trying
-
1 ReplyNo , doing that Will take away what trials was engineered for, a hard and rewarding mode in crucible... If you want free stuff play iron banner or normal crucible... It's meant to be hard. Get over it.
-
1 ReplyThe light house needs to lock out players who have already been there that week. I mean, where in any damn tournament, are you allowed to keep playing after you won? None, literally none.
-
It is hard, but it's supposed to be hard. It's the hardest thing in the game. I was so happy when I finally got myself to the lighthouse
-
6 RepliesNo, sorry. It's the endgame for PvP. It's the same idea with Oryx Challenge. Some people just can do it, it's simple as that. If you can't do it, either you're bad or your team is bad. It's a challenge, it always will be, there's no point to complain about changing it. It won't be. It's for the best, simple as that.

4 RepliesKing Caine has claimed this thread as his own.

No. Its meant to be hard. Make it easier and theres no challenge, and it loses its appeal.
-
People really only need to practise and they can get in. End game stuff like Trials really isn't meant for the "casual" players, but with Twitch and groups that do trails carries it's not that hard to go flawless at least once.
-
The lighthouse as it stands is too easy. They need to remove boons or something It's not supposed to be for everyone
-
6 RepliesHow to fix: If you've gone flawless on your character this week, you should only get matched against others who have gone flawless until the next reset. This would keep the elites from intentionally ruining everyone else's runs all weekend.

17 RepliesI logged in once to get the grimoire. Played for fun and went 4-0 then got demolished by what I will say is the Top player of all time of all time. Ha ha, hell I have no idea who it was, I don't need to tell people they were a top 50 player to try and make myself look better. Could have be some scrub from Missouri. But I never tried again. Don't care to ever go to a light house. Its all the same blink/slide/shotgun douches or the last word/1K/Gay step douches. I would rather play a game I have fun at than just try to go against kids in their moms basement being suffocated by all the sticky socks that need to be washed.

7 RepliesIt's endgame content, its not suppose to be handed to you, earn it and stop complaining.
-
Just want my fate of all fools tbh

I'm a pretty average player when it comes to trials and I won't deny there are times my teammates carry me or sometimes it's just plain luck. I've had games where I will pull a lot of the weight but it's all about communication and having the right gear. This weekend was the first time I've been flawless since year 1 and to tell the truth, players have just gotten better and better.
-
1 ReplyReally dude? Gr8 b8 m8
-
It is near impossible to carry on xbox with NLB now, I got to 7, but holy crap those tryhards really don't want to lose
-
1 ReplyI've never been there and I've tried so hard but if they made it easier I wouldn't feel good when I finally do go I would have preferred when they first made it it was easier but if they change it now I will feel like I didn't earn it which I don't want either. I just want to get there and be proud then never do trials again
-
1 ReplyI don't think its too hard, I just think there aren't many casuals left that play to help "water down" the talent pool. I really noticed a difference this weekend, seemed like most of the average players were grinding IB instead, and trials matches were extra sweaty because of the tougher than usual matchups.
-
5 RepliesIt's meant to be hard. But, it doesn't help all the people who carry. When people carry people to the light house they end up preventing a lot more people from going then people they help go.
-
I personally really enjoy the current system where the games get more and more intense the more you win. Honestly I think it would be awesome if the card extended past 9 in the win count so that you could keep facing exponentially better teams. I think too many people think of the lighthouse rewards as something they desperately need when really it isn't that big of a deal. Only the Doctrine is really worth it to me, and you only have to go 5 and 3 to get the base model when that is the weapon of the week.
-
I think making it extremely difficult makes it so much more rewarding. If it was lame and easy for anyone to do than it wouldn't be an axcomploshment. It would be "oh it's Friday lets go do three lighthouse cards and get out 320 weapons"
-
1 ReplyMost people are not meant to go flawless Its end game loot is for the better players Git gud skrub
for the idiots, i have gone flawless
-
5 wins and 3 losses??? well, guess id be hitting the lighthouse 3x every friday in about an hour
