Is it just me or is trials just too hard. Winning 9 games ( 7 with boons ) and no losses ( 1 with boons ). I think it is unrealistic for most people to go flawless
Maybe they should change it to 5 wins and 3 losses, so the more casual players have a shot at going.
This is just a thought. Maybe bungie will address this and change trials to make it more casual.

Its supposed to be very competitive... It doesnt even require great gun skill. Work together and you can beat anyone. Proof: My team. 1.9kd 1.7kd 0.51kd. Other team. 2.7kd 2.3kd. 0.8kd. We won 5-3. It should have been 5-2 but thats beside the point. All of there players were significantly better. Both teams were "carrying" and the lower skill team won by a decent margin. So find a team and work on teamplay

1 ReplyKeep practising in elimination with the same 2 players you'll play trials with. Trials is casual, going flawless is not.
-
I got to six on my first weekend so probably ok.
-
5 wins and 3 losses he says.....lmfao did you not pay attention to what they said when trials was created? It's a weekly pvp tournament for the pvp "elite". It's not supposed to be causal.
-
Agreed, last time I played trials I got farmed and my ELO dropped :(
-
It was easier year one. Still very doable now but the lag will get you sometimes
-
Too hard? No just not worth playing. I can play normal pvp and use whatever armor and weapons I want. Vs using a select few guns an classes that are worth a damn.

1 ReplyI have struggled in trials. Mostly because I have been a Pve player in destiny. I am beginning my hunt for trials glory. This also comes with a hunt for teammates though. The most difficult part about it was finding teammates. It was a more elitist search than looking for a raid team. And I get it. I really do. But no I don't think trials needs "nerfed" in terms of requirements.

I can get to around 6 wins with my usual group without much of a problem. But that's when the meta weapons and Warlocks poop on our chests. We'd love to see the Lighthouse but for now, the bounties are a good filler.

No. Trials really isn't that hard
-
1 ReplyIt's not for the casual players. It's meant to be for the best of the best.

6 RepliesThe way to get to the lighthouse doesn't need to change but I think they need to do something. Just to clarify I have been flawless a handful of times so I'm not just saying this cuz I've never been. Everyone paid money to play this game meaning they deserve to experience all of it. So I think bungie needs to lock characters out from playing trials once they go flawless for that week. So one account can go three times if you have three characters.

2 RepliesI agree that it's incredibly harsh but fitting. Most things in Destiny can be done by anyone willing to put enough time in. I think it's good to have one mode that is super competitive and rewards only the best of players. I've not been to the lighthouse in year 2 yet but it'll be satisfying to finally get there!
-
8 RepliesHaha no. You have to earn it.
-
Until guns get balanced I'm probably never going to play trials again so when Destiny 600 comes out
-
I think 9-0 is easy/hard enough as it already. I used to be terrible and while still improving have raised my total KD from 0.7 or less to a 0.9. So my opinion probably isn't valued but I will keep going. I think no change in difficulty is needed but maybe some type of reward for finishing a card and getting 9 wins on it. So a random primary with attack ranging between 300-310. So if you have a loss there is still a purpose to try get 9 wins. (Once per character of course) It's nearly 3am and I have no idea where this is going.

4 RepliesI have a .79 kd.ive been to the light house 28 times.ive done it with first timers an avg players.it is hard,it is what it is.
-
1 ReplyNever been 9-0 becuase of sweats and the salt shakers
-
3 RepliesNo. Flawless should be hard to obtain. If you're playing casual just do the bounties.
-
4 Replies
Mmmmm
-
3 RepliesYou play to win the game.

1 ReplyEdited by PSD: 3/2/2016 4:22:55 PMFor 5 wins how about a fly by of mercury in your ship and back to orbit. Earn the lighthouse! It's not for everyone. It's where the matured pvpers hang. There is also an unlimited amount of glimmer for free per visit and a cockpit you can go inside.

6 RepliesIt really isn't hard.

4 RepliesToo many poisonous elitists in this community would cry if that happened. I have always said locking off a lore heavy area and grimoire was a bad choice by bungie. There should be more ways to get to the lighthouse. Just let those people who get their precious 9 wins open the chest. But everyone should have access to the lighthouse after completing all bounties and their trials card.

1 ReplyI will never get there, but i accept it also because there is no solution to this... changing it is just annoying those who got there legit, lowering the amount of wins too, 5-3 is ridiculous ...
