CRIMSON DOUBLES WAS TOOOOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT.
I really wanted to like Crimson Doubles...
EDIT: Thanks for the support guys. I really hope this video stays around long enough to prove to Bungo how pissed off their community is at this sh*t show of a game. I wanna love Destiny but Chungie ain't helping.
EDIT 2: CLARIFICATION OF SALT LEVELS; Alright, seems like some explanation is need. So 90% I'm not salty. I deal with the bs that is this game, use what ever meta I need so I don't get finger popped by everyone I meet. This game had me choking on salt not just because of lag. A large part of it is that I've been playing TTK for like 4 months now. Got no news of the future, got no clue whether or not there will even be a reason to play this game in a month or whatever, and on top of all this sh*t that has slowly been making me play less Destiny, Bungie stands up and says: "BRUH, WE HEAR YOU. TOTALLY FIRED THAT OTHER GUY THAT MESSED THIS SH*T UP. WE'VE CHANGED, DUDE. SEEN THE LIGHT. WE'VE GOT SO MUCH CRAZY SH*T OVER HERE IT WOULD BLOW UR MIND. JUST WAIT FOR FEB UPDATE, BRUH. WE GOT U."
Then I play Crimson Doubles and realize it's literally a game mode I could have made myself if they had given us custom matches.
TL;DR So yeah, I'm salt af in this video, but normally I'm pretty chill. Crimson Doubles was just the straw that broke the camels back and I couldn't hold it back anymore.

I think you set your expectations waaaay too high for this game mode and came out disappointed; to which now you are blaming Bungie for, when in reality it's your own god damn fault.

Crimson Doubles is a great game type. Had a lot of fun playing with my friends. That is... Until I got to the end and received a 290 Vanguard Shell and the Formal Bow emote. I mean... Wtf lol

Now I haven't exp that level of lag in around 30 games of CD but it's real. I've seen it via regular crucible. The people I play with decided screw it. Since you get the loot win or lose we just go in with random approaches. Favorite is melee only or side arms. It's also fun playing tag or peek a boo. Hate mail like none other.

iI actually feel the opposite, i feel like it's a missed opportunity The more i play crimson doubles the more and more i feel like it's a missed opportunity that could of been such a fun pvp playlist. Crimson doubles should of been multi-team from halo 3. Just think about how chaotic and fun that mode was, 2v2v2 would have been perfect. It maintains the 6 player count that trials of osiris has, but with a twist that bungie is familiar with, from it's halo franchise. I know most people are having mixed feelings about it, but overall I'm disappointed. And the driving factor to the disappointment, is there's no worth while rewards behind this event, and it's not as competitive as trials since there's no ticket to match your numbers of wins to an opposing team. 1 ReplyHonestly, I had a blast with Crimson Doubles. I had two excellent partners in my clanmates and we just slaughtered the competition. It was just awesome. Top it off, I got 2 Legendary Gloves, 2 Legendary Class Item, 1 Legendary Helm, and a 310 Acrophage Symbiote for my efforts. My friends weren't so fortunate, but they snagged some really well rolled legendary primaries. They also banked 1 well rolled Party Crasher +1 and a really well rolled Eyesluna during the actual matches. Personally, I find Crimson Doubles to be like Baby's First ToO. Fewer tryharders, fewer cheap tactics, far more relaxed, decent rewards, and the bounties were pretty satisfying. My only regret is that this only lasts a week. I wouldn't mind this becoming part of the monthly rotation of events.

After over 50 days of play time I got my moneys worth out of this game to be sure, I love team doubles game types, Bungies team doubles (2v2 Halo) was the last straw for me though. When I heard you no longer spawn with special ammo I was like, 'yeah, great idea, I love it' You spawn in and make a push, snipe, snipe, so now everyone brings out the Icebreaker and thorn, such a joke. I have nothing against these weapons but doesn't allowing sniper ammo to continually replenish defeat the purpose of removing special ammo at start or am I missing something?. I hope the Division is good, maybe it can figure out some of the things Bungie can't or are unwilling too, needles to say the spark in this guardian has gone out.

I actually enjoy it, which is very unusual for me to say about a Destiny PvP event. My overall opinion of Destiny PvP is that it is a farce - should be greatly simplified (standard issue weapons and armor, no supers) so it is possible to balance. Also, as I posted earlier today, sniping in particular is hilariously bad. But somehow, I enjoy CD. I guess because I am able to pick a friend to do it with, so it ends up being laid back and chummy. However: the rewards seem like they are bugged. I grinded it for an hour today. We won most of our matches. The best rewards I got were a few strange coins and a legendary engram (3 marks). My teammate got a shader, but otherwise similar rewards as me. I was hoping for at least an Ash Factory or something if not a shell.

Maybe it's because I thought Crimson Doubles would be shit- I ACTUALLY really like it alot. No it isn't impressive, but it is fun. If this i the type of lag ppl have been complaining about than I must be super lucky- I haven't seen this kind of lag ever in this game, and my internet is blatantly pretty mediocre. Especially after they cleared things up this last update, I'd say anyone who is still on this hatewagon are just over reacting and need to go outside and realize how much THAT sucks. lol

Agreed, although i like the fame mode myself, we have no dlc. If u call soarrow racing league and doubles a dlc thats shit. Uear one we gey krota and house of wolves with atheon, year 2 <6 months into it> we have no new after taken king. I need new content if i an to okay this game another month let alone 10 years. I love the game but whats new, like really new. Id like a new raid new multiplayer maps. More things to do ither then the same old grind. Gets old fast
