Do yourself a favor and ignore it.
Don't learn it, it's a bad kids answer to being bad.
It makes it a LITTLE quicker but takes more time to explain than anything.

It isn't even quicker. Still need to swap brand the same number of times. It is easier for the four who stay mid. Just as hard if not harder for the two on the totems. It is a carry technique, like no knights. It isn't worth doing except in a pinch (like if you really are carrying someone).

No it actually IS quicker but not by much, just because when you're swapping the brand you have to walk like 10 feet to the plate you have to stand on instead of running all the way from the bottom to the top. Not a HUGE amount of difference but it is noticeable.

Edited by OurWildebeest: 2/4/2016 1:11:12 PMIt is a 30 second timer either way. The time savings you are referring to just lets you get back faster after removing deathsinger's. But, that merely compensates for having two swapping per side instead of three. If nobody ever loses the brand and has to pick it back up - it takes the same exact time, to the second (which means it takes a little longer overall since you had to wait for sword guys to get immunity before grabbing brand). If you lose brand, you probably reclaim it a little faster in the cheese.

You know what that's true, fair point! I guess it just feels quicker.

Edited by OurWildebeest: 2/4/2016 1:27:05 PMIt does feel faster in mid. Definitely lower stress. On the totem, it can get hairy if the guys in mid aren't killing knights. I was actually carrying people (a 281 on hard mode) and near the end, I had two sword knights, by the time I dealt with them, I had two boomers. I was jumping more than shooting, so before I could kill a boomer, I got another sword knight chasing me, plus acolytes and thrall. I was jumping for my life with health bar constantly on minimum tossing AOE grenades at my feet when we were finally deemed worthy :)
