Bungie, you've made an awful decision
So iron banner came out today. I began playing it, like anyone else. I've played iron banner control and clash. Rift, was an awful choice. You can't play solo. I've played 5 games, lost all of them. All if my other friends left for other games. So I'm forced to play solo. Other teams are coordinated. What's the point of playing it if you can't reap rewards, so far it's a waste of time
Looks like I'm at matchmaking mercy. Alot of people seem to be doing amazing at solo

5 RepliesClash was the best. Great for teams & great for solo players. It relied on gun skill and that's it & that's what iron banner should be about.

While the game type is no fun, there is fire team chat and LFG site. Remember, camping the spark and spawn camping are the keys to Rift. Have fun!

Played plenty solo without major issues. I'm having a lot of fun with rift. It's a nice change. Maybe you're treating it like clash?

Two things happened, maybe three. I played with clanmates and we dominated. I played solo and got wrecked. I am seeing a large number of teams not even attempt the spark and just camp rift gates.

Rift with two pre-made teams of 6 is the most fun I've had in a while in Crucible. When we came up against solo teams it was too easy though, playing Rift solo is rough.

Every time I search for a game I get put in one already started...... Ya I'm usually on the losing team and the other team has heavy.

Im currently rank 3 and have been playing solo and haven't lost more then 2 in a row. Try lfg if you really need it.

1 ReplyJesus Christ they completely screwed this up. Half my team sits in the spawn THE ENTIRE GAME WAITING TO KILL THE ENEMY RIFT RUNNER LIKE ITS THEIR JOB. Never once making a push to actually take the spark and have a chance at winning. At least in control you could win when your jackass random teammates don't play the objective. There is no way to win rift without a team backing you up. Im pretty sure half of the ppl playing don't even understand what is going on in "RIFT". Once again Im forced to come on these salty ass forums because dumbass decisions are being made that make this game suck.

It's a team and objective game type. Meaning, you're going solo ham means Butkus when your TEAM loses. Said it before and I'll say it again. From the get go, TTK has been more focused on team play than solo play.
