let me lecture you on this: the RNG in Destiny is NOT pure RNG.. remember when you are 170 or 200 or 280 ? how many 260 did you get ? none, ok.. when did you received the first purple ? yep AFTER you bought the first or got it as a reward from a strike endscreen.. etc-. so NO RNG in Destiny is a "guided RNG" it takes into calculation what you have or what you are NOT supposed to get.. so YES he game CAN guarantee you something.. and Bungie should use that more often.. to have rewardsdrop that you can actually use and not aim towards the slowest progression possible..
