Sparrow Racing will be coming to a close at 1am Pacific tomorrow, so get your last races in while you still can.
Iron banner will be starting tomorrow around 10am Pacific.

Pushing forward on your left joystick will push your bike to the ground a lot faster. 3oC work every other round after you've crossed the finish line. Honking your horn the most will net a 320 helmet and class item. If you race against me then you are a loser. Post your SRL spoilers below.

7 RepliesDefinitely a grind if RNG wasn't nice. Especially to rank 5. 1 320 helmet and highest class item of 318 to show for the grind. A bit sad I didn't get a 320 class item. Oh well. Here's to being hopeful the raid drops a 320 class item haha.

I enjoyed the event a lot and liked the new sparrows very much too. The rewards were good without being game breaking. All those who say it was unfair to get 320 class items and helmets need to relax. It is only about 3 or 4 light levels increased depending on your ptevious gear. I reached rank 4 and got 4 320 helmets and only one titan mark at 317. I would like to keep srl a constant event, maybe not monthly like IB but at least every 3 months with new tracks. Pls keep adding content and keep it fair.

Definitely need more courses and modes. I think it would be cool (and somewhat simple) to let us death race with pikes...or demolition derby with the cabal vehicles. Or dare I say...Time Trials of Osiris?

Overall I found it an enjoyable event. Somethings different to get gear to level up. A few possible changes for next time SRL comes back. Four tracks would be nice for more verity. Add a track for the earth and moon. Include a SRL ghost to the drops. Just a couple bugs to work out with hitting some of the gates and they don't register. Then when hitting the directional pad for tricks some times not activating. Looking forward to seeing DeeJ & Cozmo on the track next time SRL is around. P.S. Got plenty of 320 helmet drops zero 320 class items. So if 3 of the 320 helmets I have sitting in the post office turned int to 320 class items. I would not complain.

SRL was awesome, we just need more maps, and I seem to get some rubber banding issues when landing jumps, It cant be my connection though because I'm always green.

3 RepliesI have to admit the drops have been disappointing for me. I play quite a bit and rng is brutal to me, whereas my brother who rarely plays got two 320 helmet drops right after hitting rank 3. I've yet to get 1. Took him on his first hard raid and he got 3 320 drops in one raid, and we didn't even do oryx. I got nothing that I could've used. Hell golgoroth literally gave me 2 shards in hard mode. While it's great for casual players to get good drops, it sucks that it seems rng constantly shits on me, the dedicated player more often than not. Had to get that off my chest. /Rant off

If anything, rank 4 and 5 give you less changes of high light gear while it should be increased. I am rank 5 and apart from 2 320 helmets, my rewards are extremly bad. I have yet to see a class item above 313, and those are the reason i have grinded this so much. [i]i know its a long shot, but if you could communicate this to the dev team and then its up to them to make a decision. But RNG for events like this is just cruel for the players. 9 hours i spend yesterday racing, still nothing. RNG shouldnt make me this angry, ruining a event that started out as fun.[/i] [b]finally!!! After 2 more hours of grinding SRL starting at 6am local time i finally got that 1 reward i was aiming for. A 318 Class item that finally helps me move my Warlock forward. My point still remains about the current RNG regarding events but now i atleast can close the first SRL event off in peace. [/b]

My warlock got to 320 from319 because of sparrow racing. Besides that I really enjoyed trying to break my PR. It'd be nice to have accurate hit detection, but honestly it maybe effected the outcome of a handful of the 100 races completed. I'll take that for a temporary multiplayer event any day
