If you need to self res in Kings Fall then you're bad. There's other warlock subclasses that can actually help your team out my killing adds for them quickly which will keep everyone alive not just yourself.
Gut gud.

I play with radiant skin except for at oryx. Its a fun subclass to play

2 RepliesA lot if times if I'm not running self res, people bitch asking me why u don't have res on

4 RepliesEdited by Riley: 12/23/2015 11:25:56 PMIf a hunter causes a wipe, it's normal If a warlock dies and the fireteam sees that he doesn't have on sunsinger, he gets kicked
-
I'm never the first to die in the hard raid. But I always have self res just in case, because the only thing that stops a good raid team beating Oryx is a wipe caused by accidental death. For everything other than hard raid, stormcaller works best and is more fun.

Edited by DUD3MAN13: 12/23/2015 10:09:16 PMgod forbid I die while running Song of Flame or Radiant Skin, 5ppl will be yelling at me for not running self-res. Warlocks run self-res because Titans and Hunters make them.
-
If I die and I'm a Sunsinger, I'll self-res. The Super is inherently selfish. I don't care though, I play with other people who don't mind. It's a game, no need to get your panties bunched up.
-
Sunsinger in PvE? Bwahaha. Unlimited power, bitches!

1 ReplyBack when I mained Warlock, I used to use Self-Rez. But I then realized it was hurting my team, so I switched to Radiant Skin. While I don't main Warlock anymore, whenever I use it, I don't use Self-Rez as it makes me reckless and harmful to teammates.

Edited by Blind Revive: 12/24/2015 8:54:32 AMWhen I use my Warlock I personally enjoy Sunsinger because of its abilities. I use self rez but certainly not as a crutch because ANYTHING can cause you to die. But if I am running with my normal raid group I use Radiant Skin because I don't need to carry anyone. I hold my own and never take dumb risks. If I know that my fireteam is generating non stop orbs, I will participate in the orb making. :p

I find people who run self res are more reckless. Than they get into that habit even when they don't have their super or are far less aggressive for fear of dying because they don't have self res. In the raid the only really useful subclass is sunsinger besides in the second boss to clear out adds. In the oryx fight I use sunsinger as a sheild for my titan fireteam when we enter the shade and I'll jump in and take the hit when shadow comes into swing. Most people I do find hold onto their supers too long. That being said it's really the player vs the class
-
Ok Mr Hunter or Titan go solo Oryx now LIKE RIGHT -blam!-ING NOW!!! Without a Warlock. Jeez yes it's stupid how you can come back to life, but got damn so much hate. And even then still more useful than a lot of the supers.
-
1 ReplyHow can we vote wrong?

I never understood why warlocks get hate for self reviving, its an ability and it comes to prove useful.
-
This post isn't very intimidating. I feel deceived. You, sir, are a charlatan.
-
I run Voidwalker 100% of the time. Favorite subclass in the game.
-
Noooo way! How can I unlock them?
-
1 ReplyI dislike the other subclasses. I hate Stormcaller with a passion and am not fond of Voidwalker. I like Sunsinger's abilities and grenades. It feels much more fun and useful. I run Song of Flame for most activities anyway.

2 RepliesNow I know why so many people haven't completed the raid..
You oh great raid God, were not on their team!
9 RepliesEdited by Master Chief: 12/23/2015 10:16:12 PMI just failed at Oryx and yes, we had 3 sunsingers on our team and yes, they kept dying. I've always thought that self-res was great, but when people use it as a crutch only and don't use their other abilities, like solar grenades and flame shield to avoid death in the first place, or don't kill enemies to produce orbs of light for the team once they've self resurrected... It pisses me off. And this is the case with 95% of Sunsinger users. I've always been slightly prejudiced against the use of the class in raids and this is only serving to strengthen that prejudice. Edit: you forgot to add option number 4 to the poll- "Yes, but I prefer using the other two subclasses because I don't suck ass"
-
I use self res and although i havent caused a wipe in my last 6 hard raids its just nice to have incase you do -blam!- up
-
I run self-res because I run relic, and stormcaller and void walker would be useless. Plus my team doesn't suck ass, so our knights die in a timely fashion.
-
I only ever walk the void, unless it's a nightfall with a specific burn. My favourite loadout for warlock is still voidwalker with obsidian mind and bad juju. PURPLE EVERYWHERE
-
I almost always run the relic on oryx and almost never use my super. So yes I run sunsinger, because why not. What good would a nova bomb or a storm trance do when I'm jumping to get relic or running to the vessel. Sitting on a self Rez is more useful to my team than sitting on a nova bomb or storm trance, at least with self Rez if I screw up and die we don't have to wipe. It's not that I need the crutch of sunsinger, it's that I don't need any super from any class so I might as well run sunsinger and potentially prevent a wipe
-
what? i did not know this
-
6 RepliesI use sunsinger to draw fire and get up in the adds faces to protect someone else. Use double flame shield to keep soaking up fire and give relic holders or whoever time to escape.
-
1 ReplyI use voided lire all the time. I joined a group of on lfg one time and they were mad that I refused to run sunsinger on the oryx and daughters fight. I told them I don't usually die so I'm not going to run sunsinger. The group told me I'm being selfish but I didn't die once.
