Did you know there are other Warlock subclasses besides sunsinger in PvE?
If you need to self res in Kings Fall then you're bad. There's other warlock subclasses that can actually help your team out my killing adds for them quickly which will keep [i]everyone[/i] alive not just yourself.

1 ReplyI love running voidwalker and even though I rarely die and sunsinger is my least favorite subclass everyone bitches a fit untill you switch to it in hard mode raids.

1 ReplyI honestly hate it when warlocks refuse to play anything besides sunsinger in PvE. Stormtrance and even nova bomb are great for killing adds, and stormtrance especially is fantastic at generating orbs. Too often those who play sunsinger only activate it when they die, so it's useless for a majority of the time.

18 RepliesAs a Sherpa, I appreciate people who run self-res. An idiot will run Voidwalker or Stormcaller and try killing something they shouldn't and get in deep shit. A Sunsinger will play a tiny bit more intelligent, due to not having a super power at their fingertips. Plus, you're right, a lot of self res warlocks are bad, but what does that matter? I'm sure you aren't impeccable yourself. I've cleared all 3 raids countless times, yet I still mess up occasionally. This post is basically saying, don't run the smartest class for the hardest activity. So... Warlocks, you heard it here, don't run Sunsinger. Stick to being a dumbass who died trying to Nova Bomb or Stormtrance everything. Titans, forget bubbles man, go Fist of Havoc or Hammer of Sol the ogres down in Oryx, or Golgoroth, or Warpriest. Go ahead. OP says dying is for scrubs. Kill things man. Hunters, you guys are garbage. Get nerfed by Bungie and die because you're all whiny brats who are 12 and virgins. Did I cover the forums well enough? Imbeciles complain about someone running a super they feel comfortable using. Grow up.

The first few times i did KF i ran sunsinger, since completing it on my alts (that can't self res) I realised that I was a tool and have ran stormcaller ever since.

I pop my Sunsinger super anytime my group is bunched up so I can help them charge their supers. It works well against Golgoroth, War Priest, Daughters, and Oryx. Obviously I don't use Self-Res, I use the perk that charges abilities for nearby allies. My squad makes sure they use their super more often, so I immediately charge my super every time I use it, do they can use theirs again. It works great.

2 RepliesEdited by championkiller: 12/27/2015 4:24:18 AMYeah but I can't make that many orbs with one weak nova bomb...and I have to get close with storm caller...pop radiance kill all the thrall at the beginning that already got double tethered..minimum 25 orbs, pop radiance and kill both ogres on your side 7 orbs...can't kill both ogres with one nova bomb....can't leave my platform to kill both ogres with storm caller....seems like I'm helping my teammates more than any of those other classes...

Now lets consider ward of dawn and tether. Literally designed to make it easier to survive, and make enemies easier to kill. Now lets revise the definition of a crutch. Not warlocks fault you pussies need a support subclass to feel relevant. Where in the raid are bubbles and tethers actually required? They arent. Hunters and titans are pussies for using their 'crutch' subclasses.

Last I checked Sunsingers have the following: Primary Weapons Special Weapons Heavy Weapons Grenades Melee The above allow them to kill enemies too.
