I mean, yeah I see the plans and don't agree with the business model. But, I am having fun with chasing certain guns and trying to get the best rolls. It's like collecting Pokemon cards to me. Nowadays I don't have much time to play and at this pace I quite enjoy myself.
In the demo, I spent hours shooting stuff in the Divide in the Cosmodrome. That tiny place had a great atmosphere to me. Sometimes I put some nice music on, and go explore the environments. No stressing about lagswitchers in Trials, noobs in raids, just me, my new gun and the place I am in. And I am on 360, but still love the beauty of the scenery.
Might not work for everybody, but stop stressing about something that supposed to relief stress.
See you guys out there! I always wave.

3 RepliesFun? I have Xenoblade X for "fun". I have Destiny as a footstool now. You can only grind strike-exclusive gear so many times before you question what the hell you're even trying to do anymore.

Most of us who enjoy the game are too busy playing to come here and cry all day every day. Play or gtfo

Same. I just wish I could get a halfway decent sidearm or fusion rifle. I don't need a tenth Next Big Thing or w/e that shotgun is

Edited by mannagement: 12/20/2015 7:03:04 PMMe and my buddies always have a blast in Zone Control. I'm usally the Defender of Home Flag (Nobody's ever taken it from me), and they are usally on the front lines, protecting B flag, and pushing the enemy back And I can't even recall how much time I spent just wandering around the Patrol areas. I was always looking for new secrets, roleplaying, and testing out my new exotics. My favourite area in the whole game is the Divide aswell. I love the detail they put into it.

I love The Divide too! Been my very favorite zone to do bounties, grind mobs or events since the pre-Alpha build!!! I mean, sure enough, majors spawn regularly, the walker drops every 20-ish minutes like clockwork... But there's more to it than mere convenience. That map has... something! A sense of place. A flow. Remember how that area was in the original E3 demo way back when? Well, I get the distinct impression it was one of the very first maps built and it has been tweaked, iterated and perfected more than any other place in Vanilla Destiny. The attention to details, the love and care, the craftsmanship on display here is just... stunning! Also... that skybox, mate! So, yeah, aside from all the arguments about having stuff to do in Destiny, I thought you should know: I get it too!

Destiny logic: *Normal Raid* "EVERYONE, GET IN POSITION. THIS IS WAR, NOT A GAME OF BUILDING BLOCKS." *Hard Mode Raid* "Look guys, I can count to potato."

I'm still having a lot of fun. Sparrow races are really cool. I like that it's sticking around for bit so ug all my helmets and class items to 320. I am a little bored tho, I don't feel that need to collect everything like I did in year one, which actually makes playing less of a grind. The only thing that bothers me is the elitism when it comes to raid and trails requirements.

Me, myself and I

I play to get a higher light than my friends, and rub in in their face. As for PvP, trials is all I do, going flawless is still so fun..
I am the highest light put of my friends ATM

Snape kills Dumbledore..
About two or three Sparrow Races a day, or once every few days, if that counts.
-
So true. I've done that in the demo and I actually got the husk of the pit when the swords spawned. I loved using that sword to kill the spider tank. It was awesome.
-
My clan does. I never understood the anger and gate people have over a game. Relax and remember why you play games in the first place
-
I just play either for fun (or not) to possibly own people in the Crucible with my Queensbreaker Bow fusion sniper rifle. XD

3 RepliesIf you can't have fun then what's the point? It's supposed to be entertaining
