Truly these are the end times for us. New Guardians will be buying their way to level 25, and the rest of us will have no way of beating them. I can see it now.
"Looking for two others for flawless Trials run. Must be level 25, and must have starting auto rifle. Fake 25s will be kicked."
"Looking for a team to take down Oryx, must be level 25 to join. If any of your gear is greater than Uncommon, you will be kicked."
"Need a team of 25s for Nightfall, you'll be kicked if you have more than 20 armor materials."
This is the end of an era for us veterans. We can't hope to compete with these new Guardians who have bought their way into power. We are being phased out.

I am the legend that shall carry the light into the darkness

God I hope so. I'm already tired of playing with you fools. ;)

It's worth maybe $10 and that's if all 3 subs get maxed as well. I can't support a microtransaction in this game(THIS game, mind you). I see it being a necessity in others but this is excessive. Hey, if someone wants to drop 30 or 44(AUS) on lvl 25? Whatever. They will not stop here though, that i promise. Desticles even know that by now. It's ok if this doesn't wreck destiny 2. That's the one i'm banking on everything being great and being one of the best games of all time. I'm probably naive and overly optimistic

Doubtful you won't even notice

1 ReplyEdited by Cinna999: 12/17/2015 2:04:10 AMThe pricing is just ridiculous. Half the cost of the game (full price of the game if you go to game stop where I've seen it for 30$) to level one character to not even to max level. Completely absurd more proof, if any was needed, that Bungie has become a cash grab.

And the best players will end up in IH2BU

If you have ever, and I mean ever, gamed with me you'd know what I would do. The second I see their level, and grimoire, i fawn over them for a few seconds and then make that match a living hell for them. I'm talking about just risk getting killed to smack that newbie in the face. Death will not find them, I will. And then afterwards I will be the most helpful person on the planet and help them get to greater heights. If the reign of 25s come, I'm prepared to give them hell.
-
Then again, we'd easily wreck them with our experience, so...

I can't wait to lick the salty tears from their faces.

2 RepliesOmg I totally can't get into trials or anything that requires being lvl 40! Op is stupid as hell. Who cares about getting to 25? That's when ttk begins

5 RepliesEdited by urfavsenpai: 12/17/2015 1:08:26 AMHi, 25 here How do I get better at PvP?

It's the "New Generation".
7 Deadly Sins reference
Lol win

How to level up quick: Bounties.

This game is so easy to get to 25. If enough people are willing to pay for this boost, I imagine this will set a precedent for future games to make leveling such a chore just to temp more people to buy such micro transactions.
-
1 ReplyI dunno, that Lv25 in the Crucible with the Khvostov has a blatant advantage over my The Last Word..
-
Good, maybe my K/D will go up finally.
-
1 ReplyAs sarcastic as this post is its really how most people on the forums are lol They complain about the boost being available and its just as stupid as the people who buy them.
-
LOL.... I thought the same thing yesterday, when I saw a news article claiming that, "Players will now be able to buy their way to the top tiers of Destiny." I was like, "Meh... maybe buy their way to the middling tiers, at best."
-
1 ReplyThere is something wrong with someone who would spend $50-60 on a game and then spend another $50 to avoid playing most of it.
-
This is exactly what I think when people say Destiny is now pay-to-win.
-
2 RepliesYeeeah this "Xmas rush" of new players isn't going to be as big as you think. Parents trying to buy s crappy game in the bargain bin for their kids without knowing what games their kid likes --> find Destiny ---> kid wanted Gran Turismo or some crap --> game gets returned.
