Last Word balance- disable ADS completely
The Last Word has emerged as a gigantic problem in crucible once more thanks to the handcannon buff. It is operating at mid range while ADS rendering auto rifles completely worthless and making game modes such as rumble essentially one gun modes if you want to compete. Bungie has shown they have trouble balancing around this one particular gun many times, when it was in control recently it caused nearly every other handcannon to be worthless via the weapon class nerf.
What should be done is this- The Last Word needs to lose the ability to ADS completely. It will then be the close range weapon it was meant to be without insane power outside it's intended range and it will no longer threaten the handcannon class as a whole with nerfs.
Edit #1. To the many attempting to defend The Last Word, just stop for a moment and think. If it keeps performing like it is there will be a handcannon class nerf again. The result will be that it will be balanced once more while all other handcannons are mediocre to unusable.
Edit#2. There are truly an amazing amount of people rushing in with mindless, off the wall insults. So many can provide no argument. We all know TLW is operating outside it's intended range. Try to deflect or just deny the facts. Remember, if the last word isn't dealt with it will destroy the entire handcannon class once more.

What if you can aim, but fan fire is disabled, because it doesn't make sense that you can while aiming

1 ReplySteps 1) make range, impact, RoF, etc comparable for different weapon types 2) make the range actually matter for guns such as TLW, giving low range a much more severe damage fallout 3) decrease the accuracy chance for TLW alone while ads. 4) increase TLW hip fire accuracy greatly 5) (haven't been on since update, so unsure how well it competes now) do the opposite of 3 and 4 for tfc

Hip fire isn't [b]that[/b] accurate as of now to consider a loss to ADS. Even if Bungie did they have to buff it by some percentage since Hip fire is obtainable for all guns.

Well thats how I use always use it anyway......even better so that people actually use it because they like the gun not the"stats" i have always been using this gun pre and post nerf....hurts my eyes so many people using it as a crutch..

Disable ADS and make the fan firing with L2, turned it into a skill weapon.
