Super rebalance***

[b]i main a Titan not a hunter so shut up about that [/b] Edited super rebalance We will be talking over all effectiveness Here's the scenario [b]you spawn in full super and it's rumble. Which super gets how many kills at best Striker- 1 Nova bomb- 1 Gg-3 Blade dancer-3/6 Sun breaker- 4/6 Sun singer- 2 (super only) Night stalker- 1/2 Defender---- Storm trance- 4/6 [/b] So let's rebalance based on how effective they are in this scenario because this is probably the best way to show the potential of all the supers. Striker: as on now it is unbelievably weak Very close range No reason to use this over sun breaker when sun breaker does the same but better. Solution Allow 2 total smashes The first is a regular fist of havoc The second has less AOE shock and has to be used within let's say 5 seconds Triple the damage in pve. It's fist of havoc. Not tickle the shielded knight. This puts its over all potential much higher than it is now. Which is good for one kill 90% of the time. Defender: Duration needs to be upped by let's say 5-10 seconds, blessing and armor of light get auto recharge without having to leave the bubble (starts recovery after 3 seconds) Needs to be able to take 4 hammers Fine in pve Sun breaker: Doesn't need a buff but a slight rebalance -reduce amount of hammers thrown to 5 total but increase the damage they deal This won't affect pvp but in pve you'll get more bang for your buck. This way everyone's happy. -reduce damage resistance by 5% Blade dancer: In pvp it's fine as is In pve it's a joke and needs an easy 400% damage buff to its attacks Golden gun: Boost duration by 2-3 seconds Add crit multipliers for pve, make keyhole already unlocked on the golden gun and add something else into its place Night stalker: This super feels more like a suppressor grenade lol. Make the trap instant. As soon as it hits the anchor lashes out and traps people. Not give them 3 seconds to kill you with their super or primary. It's a super bungie not a suppressor grenade Sun singer: just undo the nerf Storm trance: Apparently landfalls radius isn't as big as I thought but, remove the blinding effect Lower the supers time to be active by 4 seconds (transcendence) It seems it could use a tiny damage boost in pve Nova bomb: This has the same issue as fist of havoc It's only good for one or two kills at best. I propose shatter be changed to be able to throw maybe 3 nova bombs, reduced splash damage, slightly slower velocity This puts its kill potential up to par with everyone else and no longer is it a panic super along with fist of havoc. Triple damage done in pve. The grimore says "Hit with the force of a collapsing star" lol a collapsing star can't kill a knight?

    I think I have a better idea, a way to re-tune all of the subclasses. Not just the Supers, but the entire subclass as well. [Striker] >Fist of Havoc now has a 175% damage increase against AI Combatants >Death from Above now has increased radius and damage when activated from a high distance >Overload now increases the intensity of the next Storm Fist when it instantly recharges it. >Shockwave now has slightly increased range and fans out as it travels >Discharge now disorients surrounding enemies when it damages them. >Catapult now has a much stronger initial burst and has an Arc thruster visual effect upon activation. [Defender] >Spike Grenades now slow nearby enemies >Catapult (Same as Striker, but with Void thruster visual) >Armor of Light now grants a temporary increase to recovery when passing through the Ward of Dawn, and damage resistance while inside Ward of Dawn. >Gift of Light now grants an additional damage increase to your melee while Force Barrier is active and creates more orbs of light. >Bastion now increases the amount of damage Ward of Dawn can absorb in addition to the duration increase. [Sunbreaker] > Forgemaster now grants reduced damage resistance (5%) in exchange for throwing more hammers with bigger explosions. > Cauterize now only restores a portion of health per kill. >Thermite Grenade now has increased range and duration >Catapult (Same as Striker, but with Solar thruster effect) >Stoke the Forge now grants bonus damage to the next Sunstrike when it recharges it after a kill. >Thermal Vent now increases the duration of lingering damage to enemies when Sunstrike Ignites them. [Bladedancer] >Arc Blade now has a 200% damage increase against AI Combatants. > Arc Bolt Grenade has been rebuffed. > Blink now performs a Arc dash when quickly double tapping the crouch button while sprinting. >Razor's Edge now performs an upward slash that sends out an vertical Arc beam traveling along the air. (Kinda like Bolt Caster's Sword of Thunder perk, except it won't be an horizontal lightning disk.) >Backstab now performs an assassination animation when it successfully kills a target from behind. > Hungering Blade now has a very slight decrease to health regeneration speed [Gunslinger] >Deadeye now grants Golden Gun a 2.25% Precision modifier. > Golden Gun now has a 200% damage increase against AI Combatants >Combustion now has increased damage, and explosion radius. >Circle of Life now grants drastically faster cooldown for Throwing Knife and increases its damage while Golden Gun is active. >Knife Juggler now grants a damage bonus to the next Throwing Knife when it successfully resets the cooldown. [Nightstalker] >Quiver now instantly suppresses enemies when Shadowshot directly hits them. >Spike Grenade (Same as Defender) > Lockdown now grants Vortex Grenade the ability to slow enemies that are trapped within it >Snare now provides 2 melee charges [Voidwalker] >Increased Novabomb's damage output against AI Combatants by 150%. >Angry Magic now has increased tracking for Novabomb and grants tracking to Scatter Grenades. Grants Axion Bolt seekers the ability to converge on a target if it's the only one within its radius upon detonation. >Lance now produces a secondary Void pulse after the initial impact. >Soul Rip now reduces the cooldown of Novabomb on hit >Vortex Mastery now grants Vortex Grenade and Vortex Novabomb the ability to slow enemies trapped within them. >Blink now creates a Void spatial rift effect and instantly teleports you when double tapping crouch while sprinting. [Sunsinger] >Song of Flame now provides a damage bonus and reduced cooldown to abilities for you and nearby allies. >Radiant Skin now provides damage resistance for nearby allies as well. > Fireborn now only provides marginally increased recovery for you and nearby allies as well as Solar damage for primary weapons with bonus damage >Solar Wind now has significantly increased push-back distance, and damages surrounding enemies. Now weakens enemies that are damaged by it, allowing you and your allies to deal more damage. >Brimstone now creates a larger explosion on kill, does more damage, and blinds nearby foes. >Radiant Will now extends the duration of Radiance per kill >Sunburst now increases the size of the explosion created by Solar Grenade and Brimstone. [Stormcaller] > Arc Bolt Grenade (same rebuff as Bladedancer) > Superconductor now has a 50% damage increase when 3 or more enemies are chained. >Arc Web now chains damage between enemies up to 2 times per hit from grenades. >Chain Lightning is now affected by Arc Web >Electrostatic Mind now charges melee, grenade, and Stormtrance energy faster when allies are near.

  • You are not getting 4 to 6 kills in rumble as a sunbreaker. You would be lucky to get get 3.

    • Imma just be honest and say: U can't bladedance a single good player, let alone more than 1 Fohavoc still has no counter Nova is fast and efficient up close, but defense isn't as high ir animation as slow as fohavoc Gg...no shield. Many ways to kill. Easily The rest are very situational and vary, except nightstalker. Worst super for pvp, in pve stupid ai and slow pace make it very useful

      I reckon once sunbreaker is nerfed the huntards will set there sights on stormtrance as well. they won't be satisfied until even their pve support class is top tier in pvp.

        • Not every super should have the same killing power. The Titan striker and warlock nova bombs are the counter super supers. We need those to shut down a 4-6 kill super. The hunter golden gun is needs to be a kill on anyone but it's a counter and a killer of 3-4 when the new exotics come out. The Titan bubble needs a buff mainly but still has amazing ability to control a map. The Rez is one of the most fun supers in trials success or not. It's just fun to spawn in on a hump day butt hole and have a chance to teach him a lesson lol. The warlock super is an art to use with blink and not over powered unless in the right hands. Blade dance needs a damage reduction like the Titan now I think. Each super has its place in the game and shouldn't be equality to how many kills you get from it

              • There should be a crucible game mode where there are no supers, Grenades, Melee, heavys or specials. Everyone gets forcibly equipped with the beginning armor set, and a khvostov.

                    • Bubble titans should have poison like the hive wizards. Even if it is an armor exotic item.... Like saint 14 but poisoning. Would make me happy
