Give me a reason to switch from old gen Xbox to new gen Xbox
I have been researching lately that old gen players on their consoles (including PS3) have not been getting the benefits of a average new gen player in destiny. I play on old Xbox 360 and I love Destiny do not get me wrong, however I am disappointed with Bungie. I play Destiny pretty averagely and know the mechanics, but I notice that new gen players are getting extra benefits in Destiny that us old gen players cannot get all because they spent 400$ worth of what, better graphics? That is stupid how I sit and enjoy my day of playing Destiny knowing that I spent an average of 140+ dollars on a game that does not give you what you have payed for. I guess what I am trying to say is the old gen should not be pushed away from the goodies just because they are not new and improved.

It's a business first and foremost. Money is everything. Secondly, it's more than just graphics. Destiny was dumbed down to be able to run on old gen. Lots of new titles are current gen only for this reason. Start saving and pony up the cash for a much better experience. I mean look at it this way: should destiny run on Atari 2600? It's old gen too.

If you have to ask people why you should get a new gen console you are too dumb to own one. You wouldn't know how to use it. Stay your dumbass on old gen.

4 RepliesThis seems to be a reoccurring question a lot of 360 owners ask. Right now Microsoft is really pushing everyone to buy an Xbox one because they're going to cease production on 360 games. An Xbox one is 300$ dollars now. *gasps at how expensive that is* that's 300$ less than when it was released 2 years ago. Xbox 360 is more than 10 years old...what did you expect? For them to release games for both consoles forever? Just make the switch. It annoys me to no avail to see you people cry over how the 360 isn't getting any attention and they need to make these new games for it. That isn't how marketing works. If they kept downgrading A. Game just to make you last gen players happy no one would have a reason to buy a next gen system. They technically lose money. Just save up and buy a next gen system, it's only been out 2 years. It'll have at least another 10 years in it. I'm sure somewhere around there you'll have one(no pun intended)

Better graphics, you're guardian looks taller no 10 sec. loading when going into your inventory during a crucible match. Far more space for Bungie to work with.

Isn't it because the old gen can't hold the goodies? Like the whole vault space issue, that took so long because old gen didn't have enough storage if I remember it right. And little things like the part of ToM not turning, because old gen just can't support that kind of detail with the limited space it has.

I traded my 360 and games for a One last year. Got a 1 terabyte version for 50 bucks.
