So... I was doubly disappointed. The day before the SS there was the hidden quest in the Daily that ended up taking a while and seemingly got you nothing but grim, faction rep and a hearty well done from fwc chick... then the next day is the SS quest, which wasn't hard really (except Mars was trolling me hard by only having elimination events for two hours), but again you get to the end and are like... wtf?

Honestly I feel like it's well placed from the release date to now and fills a that heavy weapon slot for players still growing. It's not going to replace an exotic sword or raid weapon but it might get a player that's not raiding one step closer

As someone stated earlier .. It could be worse. Could just of ended up like other exotics where Xur hands us them gift wrapped with 0 effort applied. But yes ... It was quite a hype, and a let down.

It's actually a kinda long quest when you think about it since you have to get all four of those relic things which take like a week then do a mission then do another mission that both could be hard for people under 260 light then do those stupid war says which took like 3 hours (for me) then do the 280 strike

I'm usually unfazed by a weapon being bad, I usually just ignore it and use something else. However, this particular weapon looks amazing and the fact that it's borderline useless is disappointing. I'm looking forward to Bungie changing this weapon quite a bit.

For all we know there could be more comsidering they just handed it to us. The decription itself might even be part of a weird cryptic puzzle to make it better. I know it seems far fetched byt after the other shit we had to just to get it it seems plausible and I bet 98% of us wouldnt even have it if it wasnt for videos all around the internet about it. If most of us had to do it all ourselves we wouldnt be saying "its too easy"

What did you expect a 310? The Black Spindle was SUPPOSE to drop at 290. Bungie stated that. I agree the quest was lackluster.
