Black Spindle the new raid "Gjallahorn"?
Already in the raid forums you may have noticed in raid groups saying "must have black spindle" as a requirement. Could we be looking a potential throwback to Crotas End where not having the jellyhorn meant being s.o.l? Spindle the new Gjallahorn? You tell us!

Nope- Touch of Malice is. Why? you ask- because it means you have successfully completed the raid. Just like Trials emblems were required...

Its a waste of an exotic slot. I infused it into 1000YS as most people did and if you have these requirements your -blam!-ing stupid.

1 ReplyI barely even used mine once I got it. Infused it into my 1000 yard stare. Much prefer to use that instead of exotic sniper. Plus i as well as most of the people I raid with now have ToM. We had 4 of us use it on last week's raid for oryx/sisters. I use red death or supercell for the rest of the raid.

No. The ToM is far better for the raid, imo. I have a spindle, just don't use it.

Yes, I used t on Golgoroth and I did over 5mil damage. That's almost half of his health. On the warpriest we could 1 1/2 round him with 3 Blackspindals and on the daughters you can kill each daughter easily with them. For oryx I would say ToM is better because he doesn't have a precision spot however

It is certainly a powerful weapon, but it takes skill and some amount of luck to ALWAYS land the three crits in a row. Plus it's not near as useful on oryx as it is on the other bosses.

I think the new ghorn will not be the Black Spindle but ToM, on the last two encounters in the King's Fall raid you can deal bonus damage from the perk as well as not lose health due to the relic granting momentary immortality. I just got my Touch of Malice but haven't used thing past blessing if light from titans.

Spindle is kind of a bonus and help but once it goes to oryx you're kind of better with any sniper with high impact...

5 RepliesDefiance is Yasmine. Pop off the four shots. Switch to primary or heavy, empty that clip. Switch back to defiance empty another clip without having to reload. Just because the impact is low, doesn't mean it sucks. The cocoon perk makes the DPS crazy but no one considers that they only look for impact

3 RepliesMalice all the way. Using the Spindle for oryx would be just like using any other sniper seeing as you can't deal precision damage oryx. The Malice does far more damage with infinite last rounds.
