Do you think bungie should change the level cap to 40 for non taken king players?
In my opinion it's a bit unfair that guardians that have been here since year 1 without the taken king have been "left in the dust" . I also think it will be a good change because non taken king players can level up and get ready for when they buy the dlc.

Nope you had one whole year and this is very clearly the start of year 2. That's like saying hey let's let all the people who only bought (for example) the vanilla content of any rpg and let them get max level

Uh. No. We paid for those 6 extra levels along with everything else. They didn't. So they deserve to be stuck at 34.

Does it really matter if you are level 40 and don't have TTK. You only need higher than 34 if you are doing TTK stuff.

No the level cap increase is part of the expansion. Look at borderlands, you got level cap increases per expansion. There is no need to achieve a higher level without the content.

2 RepliesNightfall, Iron Banner should somehow be available to people who don't have TTK. Just not rewards from the year 2 loot pile.

2 RepliesI don't think so. There is no need for year 1 only to have the higher cap. You can still easily complete any y1 activity at 34. The only real reason to hit 40 is to equip the higher light gear in order to do the new stuff. If you want to do the new stuff, you should purchase it like the rest of us.

What would that do? Their light level is meant to be locked at 170ish. They can't do anything, level 40 or not.

3 RepliesNobody needs to get ready for anything because the story alone gets you to 40 from 34 and they won't be doing anything until they complete it even if they decide to actually pay for what they want. Try again.

No. Get the expansion. You guys complain about not being able to afford it or whatever the reason may be. You spend how much money on useless junk, or fast food, or whatever you're into. Then when it comes to something you enjoy but you feel left in the dust because you don't want to buy it, its wrong? I don't understand.
