Wtf kind of reward is that bungie? Its a crap one. Destiny your reward system sucks
Update: did it on my 2nd character and got 11 strange coins PLUS a mote of light. Bungie stepped up those rewards big time...
Edit: some of you guys are saying "try getting that from oryx" well i did get one from him this week, it took my shards too

Honestly, if bungie wants to keep the nightfall nerfed down so bad then just make it reset twice a week or daily. There's no point in having it reset weekly to only get coins or a rune.

Didn't they say they improved the reward system for nightfalls? Before: Exp bonus Exotic Legendary sometimes coins No exp bonus Runes Coins Motes Crap legendaries Yup, improved big time

Tried soloing the nightfall. Kept dying when the reinforcements rush you with both of them and he kept jumping on me (motor Dickinson ) no one of my friends could help due to all raiding and finally one hopped in and we finished it immediately. I got a rune. Oh and a mote of light! Mind you this was so much better than the strange coins last week. . .these rewards blow. Oh and he got helm of Saint 14. Wth

I did it with my hunter to complete a quest step. Got 10 strange coins. Not going to bother with the other characters.

My first one was a 270 crap handcannon. My next 3 were ALL strange coins. Last week's 3, at least I got 310 Sealed grips, and some shit legendaries. This week, blah. not run em yet.

Exactly! Remember the excuse the fanboys gave for people being locked out from Nightfalls? I do, it was something to the effect that a Nightfall was endgame content, which those who didn't buy TTK weren't entitled to. Well ladies and gentlemen if this is indeed endgame content, then it should payout endgame quality rewards. I also remember Year One complaints being along the same lines and the excuse back then was, you do it for the XP and the bonus bump you get for completing it, well that's long gone as we all know.
