Cozmo said it himself that while yes it is a bit crazy and the drop rate will be lessened He said that it works in our favour and to have fun with it. Why would they ban those for doing it in the first place? Not doing anything than hurting themselves.

I'm not even bothered people have done the exotic coin thing, and it's not even a cheese dumb ass. The way I see it is... so what you got the exotic, but remember you still need to get grinding for that gear to infuse into it.

Yes, at the moment the ToC is s broken but, they won't ban people for grinding trying to get as many exotics as they can. No one was banned for cheering Crota or Atheon. To fix it they will probably allow it to work on Strike/Raid Bosses only or possibly put a cool down between uses of the ToC. At the moment though, until it is fixed people will still grind for as many exotics as they can get and there is nothing wrong with that. It's just the way they want to play. :)

2 RepliesFunny thing about that suicide/three of coins farm exploit is that there is a "wipe drop penalty" bungie implemented last fall because of this very technique. People not using them legit are wasting them and getting less drops than just doing it legit.

He said it was broken but said to they were looking into it. Not that it was a violation of the game. They made it for killing ultra but did not make it specific.

They said enjoy it while it last. They stated the system is broken. This is not a cheese it is broken mechanics. If we have learned anything from this game its that people will find ways to work the system. This will not lead to any bans.

How can players using a facility that Bungie openly provided to all be "cheesing"? If they programmed a bug (or other unseen consequence) into their code that is THEIR problem not ours. The banhammer should come down on the programmer who created the issue or, perhaps more importantly, the test team who failed to see the consequences.
