Xur ruins Destiny
3 armour pieces and a helmet engram.
I have 390 strange coins so i now have 6 new helmets.
Why Bungie? Why not make us actually play for our rewards?
Don't tell me to play my own game and not purchase from Xur if it bothers me because realistically why would I put myself at a disadvantage?
TTK is AMAZING.. I just thought the Xur update was an exotic weapon or engram only.. But oh well. This is a casuals game.
Rant over, my Titan got a Taikonaut... Amazing helmet.

How does it ruin the game, you can only wear one exotic, thus it doesn't truly effect the balance, plus there is now quest for those exotics, it's just RNG and strange coins destinys way of keeping it fair for everyone

6 RepliesXur is the only reason I'm usually able to get exotics for the fact I don't have people to play with so I've never done a raid or nightfall. So he helps he doesnt ruin the game. Its not about being better its about everyone getting better for bigger challenges

1 ReplyIf xur sells year 2 exotics, you would complain about leveling too quickly. If xur sold year one items, you would complain about being ripped off and you would complain about how xur didn't transfer to year 2 quickly enouph. If xur sold nothing, you would complain anyway.

You actually did play for your reward.Thiers no way of earning anything because of the Rng system, either you get lucky or dont get anything. If you could earn items that you want in a fast way this game would suck, xur gives a guaranteed exotic engram, then you decrypt it and its all up to the Rng to decide what you get. Quit posting toxic shit because honestly you stocked up for ttk and bought all that from xur, if you truly wanted to "earn" anything you would be grinding to see if the rng would give you the item you want. Shut up and play the game.

There's a thread like this every time DLC drops, has been since the game started. Your opinions are valid, but Xur is clearly here to stay. I personally think he's here to make things easier for the people that don't have time to always be on the game.

I think xur should sell a engram with a %50 chance of getting a year one item and a %50 of getting a year 2 item. It would be like a gamble but the engram would be cheaper than the others.
