I loathe people who boast about their "real life priorities."
I dread coming across people like this in gaming.
You know the guy that says stuff like... "well i have real life priorities like my mortgage, my car, my wife and kid." They try to belittle you like they are somehow better than you.
Well let me tell you something dbag, I don't care about any of that. I don't care about your responsibilities or priorities.
And let me tell you that MY priority in life is watching films, going to the gym, and playing video games. Now let me ask you...why the hell are your priorities somehow better or more important than mine?

-blam!- all the hate in this thread. No, their priorities are not better than yours. No, that doesn't make them a better person than you. I have a job, I have a wife, I have a house and I have to pay for it all but my priority is making myself happy. Having all the kids, money, wives, jobs, bills, houses, cars... etc, is not worth the time if it doesn't make you happy. You be you and make sure you are happy with that.

I hate that only when it's someone who really does nothing. My bud has like 8 exotics, I have all and I boast sometimes cause he does the same in other games, he says he would have more of he didn't have a life. This guy is 16, in school, and calls going to the movies like 4x a week and band practice a life. All of his other time is spent modding MW2 and other CoD games. [spoiler]also has -blam!-ing max prestige in all these games, one modded account and one no mods....[/spoiler]

I have a Mrs and a kid and I miss your life bro haha. I'd give anything to have gym and games as my priority. You're leading a life that we all look back on with great memories and cry a little with joy thinking about it. Live it and enjoy it ;)

I'll back you up on this dude. I have a job, bills, and other shit in my life but that doesn't mean my shit is more important than other peoples. I'm passionate about destiny. I have surrounded myself with a great group of friends and it's something I look forward to everyday. The people that say "Well I don't have time to kill imaginary monsters all day. I have this going on in my life" are just people that get put down for not being good and have grown accustomed to that excuse instead of just ignoring it and moving on. If you suck at destiny it's not a big deal. Get over it or get better.

Edited by monkyken: 8/24/2015 9:29:08 AMA simple answer to your question is this, your priority's above are all purely for your own benefit, usually said other person might be supporting kids, a wife, or something along those lines, while you can live without your priority's said other person might loss a house, loss the ability to work for a living loss the ability to provide for a family ect ect. But in light of that we each hold our own priority's to our own standards and its unfair for someone to state they are better or indifferent to you because of it. From someone with a mortgage a proper job and a wife to be - but still finds time to complete the game content.
