Ok guys. We need an in game map when doing patrol with the ability to set custom waypoints. This game is too big not to have it.

Too big, hah :D. Thats the reason why this game doesnt need any map, because the planets are linier and you only have 1 way to go. Few paths here and there. Its a whole different story in real open world maps, where you might get lost.

3 RepliesIt's a learning/discovering game. Just learn the maps, the rest of us have. A map would spoil things.

2 RepliesI don't know how many times I've wanted a map when I was completing Queens Bounties...

impossible! they need to hide how small these areas actually are!

I can only imagine how the dreadnought will be without a map..

Agreed

This is an AMAZINGLY idea. I can't tell you the amount of times, I have to look at the map on the planet before entering it, then getting lost still.

GPS on the sparrow would be nice too. My 9 year old son's idea and I do not like to stop and ask for directions.

Bump.

1 ReplyBump. I had a thorn bounty that said go to this place and kill this guy and I was like how in the hell am I supposed to know where that is?

I agree, what year is it? How does this game not have a procedural map? I cant think of a single open world multiplayer game that doesn't have one.

Definitely. I was trying to find locations on Mars and ended up doing a strike just to find one location. It's easy to get lost on all planets(moon isn't a planet obviously) considering the size and it's weird that this game doesn't have one as most if not all free roam games have some form of map.
