One would think a small statement would be coming out of the Bungie camp warning players not to utilize such services.
It's a shame Bungie has conditioned players that they have to look outside the game to play the game. It helps create a niche for scams like this.

I certainly agree. This is the kind of evil associated with sending customers "off campus". Sure it might raise search traffic on Google but it also means that those sites can easily be top 5 results.

This is what I'm talking about. Whether or not they shut them down, or even if they should or not, doesn't matter to me. I'll never use the services. But others might, and as thick as the console wars can get I don't want any of the PS players using it in fear they'll eventually steal a massive amount of other information using it (credit cards and whatnot), or just steal their PSN account flat out.

Yup. Bungie has to be aware, this isn't the first post. But it should be a topic repeated just to make sure community awareness may circumvent a single player from getting fukt
