Why doesn't ToO have ability/weapon restrictions?
Yeah Trials is fun and all but I would like restrictions so I don't have to resort to thorn or tlw. Everyone takes advantage of all the op things and it's not bad when you can respawn but when it's elimination and guys are just sniping with thorn or last round or blinking with shotguns and throwing fire/arcbolt grenades with armor that allows you grenades every round tell me where the competition is? But this is probably for nothing because the people who utilize these bs things will just say your bad or get better but I'm not a bad player I've gone flawless every week on each character manage to keep a 1.3 kd but only because I have to resort to using thorn or tlw

You know TOO would be the ultimate place to institute the no exotic game. No exotic armor or weapons. Want to find the best guardian team that would be a good place to start.

I hope Bungie actually considers addjng such a gamemode in which people can only use legendary stuff they've rerolled and actually make it challenging. I'm actually having more fun in the IB by only using legendary weapons rather than exotics, but then there's the Thorn and last round snipers (to the shitheads who waste 2-3 bullets).

Because real pvp pros can adapt and handle everything thrown at them and don't whine as long as they're winning.

because thats just meta. its the best of all possibilities. if not thorn or TLW then red death or something else will be "too OP bs". metagame draws out the winning plays, and blink/shotty, last round, etc are the best. they are counterable though, mind you, so simply best them and there. last round requires them shooting only 1 shot then its reload time. go in in pairs, both sniping him back, even if he gets one of you the other will just res him and now u secure the last rounders' position gg. (have the person that killed him camp his body)
