Edit: Anyone wondering where the hunter option is...well it's down the toilet with bungie and activision.
Because anyone who truly believes that hunters are the best are only kidding themselves...

They just chose the class bungie advertised the most because they don't have a brain for themselves.
The only reason it was advertised the most was because it was the first class they developed (this is why they are the most prominent on the cover)...which explains why the hunters are so lacking in PvE. Bungies creativity grew only after the hunter class was established.
Edit 3: You may be wondering what the hell the point of this post is. Well I'll tell you.
Titans specialize and are the best in PvE
Hunters specialize and are the best in PvP
Warlocks aren't the best OR worst at either...they are the "best overall class" indeed.
SO the reason that Hunter doesn't even get an option is because, in reality this game is 96% PvE based.
AND the only people who play PvP only are little CoD ADHD fagboys (like my friend). If you don't do PvE in this game, you are fu*ked.

I agree with you. Hunters are more PvP but they become more important for PvE with ttk. I'm glad the game is a lot more PvE based otherwise i wouldn't play this game. It has so much potential for PvP but it's very boring now. Rift and mayhem are good things for this game. Like PoE they'll bring more variation. Good job by Bungie/Activision.

9 RepliesHunters aren't good in pve huh? I guess you ran the sword on hard crota? I guess you never have had hunter go invisible to revive the team or to solo the lanterns. But if left with only the 2 options I would pick titan as superior because they don't have revive either.

5 RepliesIn response to PvE, You don't need a support class to be good in it. But when we get Nightstalker, we're goon to replace Titans. We can give out Weapons [i]AND[/i] Blessing of Light with [i]ONE[/i] ability and still just have that option in a deprecate column of upgrades than our super.

I main as Hunter, I'd be retarded to think it's the best though. Warlock is most well rounded, so I'd rather go with that than Titan. I hate Titans anyways. They have no good abilities.
