Pride shader!
So I've brought this up before and I'll do it now because of the voting that happened today, Bungie should put out a pride shader to celebrate this historic day in history!
Edit: Mr Magpie suggested a cloak/bond/ mark. I think that's an even better idea!

I don't agree with gay marriage and never will, BUTTTTTT, how would they even make it? Cause a shader doesn't have any design if just added the three colors to specific parts of the armor that it's made to color. So just make it like red blue and green? Yellow? Hmmm.

Do I agree with gay marriage? No. Does it effect me in any way? Nope. Do I really care? Nope. Does it effect any straight person? Not really. In a couple weeks some other hot button issue will come along and nobody will care about gay marriage anymore. So let's just skip 2 weeks of debate and drop it now. Maybe we can bring it up again if aids rates decline because bill and Steve are more faithful to each other.

3 RepliesAlright There are some positive and negative stuff on this forum Before I make my statement I would like to say that I have nothing against gays, in fact, one of my best friends is in fact gay. The fact someone is gay does not change my opinion on them, and I am happy for gay marriage to be legal in the US However, destiny is a video game. Leave politics and peoples problems outside the video game world. Don't make destiny worse than it already is by bringing politics into it~ it just doesn't make any sense I expect to get hate for this comment, anyone who posts anything logical on these forums do, but it's simply a fact that introducing pride shaders and cosmetic items in the game would really screw bungie over If anyone has bothered to read this far, thanks bruh. While some rainbows over the tower would be perfectly fine, adding other shaders and things would, in my opinion, not be in the interest of the game. This being not only because it could be seen as taking sides in a sensitive debate, but it also is adding content when more content can be added. Something could always be nice, as this is a monumental decision and a huge step forward for equality, but shaders/class items are a no for me.

This is always going to be an emotive subject, my opinion (for what it's worth), is that marriage originated from a religious belief and has always been a religious ceremony (rather than legal). It's always been between a man and a woman. I think it should stay that way - I'm not religious and so won't get married to my partner (a woman), it would just feel like an empty ceremony that I participate in for the sake of the photos. My opinion is just that - just an opinion and not necessarily correct. Worth bearing in mind that all religious beliefs are not based the word of god, they're based mans interpretation of the word of god. With that in mind if like to wish a lifetime of happiness to all of those getting married to a same sex partner - regardless of whether I think it's right or not.
