ITS NOT WORTH IT - The last word in pvp and fatebringer in pve is what you need, I spent 6 hours with 2 other guys boosting this nonsense, we took turns, one of us was camping at the spot while the 2 others went to that same spot and let the guy kill us with a void weapon, simple right, well not really others figured that out and came crashing our party thus we had to find new lobbys every time (we played rumble because there are no private matches) from my experience thorn has very few advantages against the last word, in Pvp its all about Time to Kill and the last word does it better than thorn only advantage it got is more range but you know in destiny your never too far away from your opponent, i personally dont really like the ADS on thorn and as for pve fatebringer is a better alternative or any other weapon that your comfortable with. BUT IF YOU MUST DO IT. find 2 other guys to do this and like i said your going to take turns one of you is going to camp at a safe spot and the 2 others will rendez vous there to get killed by his or her void weapon until he or she is at 500 and you do that until your all at 500 than you can do xyor with the same team all in all it took us 6 hours from 11pm to 6am (one of us had server issues so it should take less time) and if someone ever finds out what your doing change lobbys, on many times there was this guy who was stalking us) and as for xyor just kill phogoths minions and damage him until that wizard spawns, than go get your gun from the speaker, I TRIED TO DO THIS THE LEGIT WAY BY GRINDING FOR ATHEONS EPILOGUE BUT THAT GUN IS JUST TERRIBLE AND IM NOT THE SHOTGUN PUNCH TYPE OF PLAYER AND I WAS A HUNTER SO I GOT THE SHORT STICK, do it as a warlock if you can but i say to all those who want the gun that it is simply not worth the hassle and that there are better alternatives to thorn like last word and hawkmoon(if your on PS) i for one will never be doing this nonsense again
