What is your opinion on this?
They announced no matchmaking so you will have to go in with a premade fireteam. This is the biggest reason so many people have not raided and is definitely a huge barrier.
Will you form a team and try ToO or is it just not for you?
Would like to hear from the casual players as we already know all the PVP addicts have a raging Gjallarboner for this.
Edit: DeeJ's suit too OP

12 RepliesIf you can't get 2 friends to play with, my Hod, you shouldn't be playing this game...

7 RepliesI'm a casual PvP player and think it's a good idea that there is no matchmaking. The structure of the Elimination mode would make playing with randoms unbelievably aggravating. Communication is key with a no-respawn mode. There are still plenty of matchmade Crucible activities, and they will be better with HoW due to their overhaul of the reward system. IGN has more info on that since it wasn't discussed on the stream.

Considering no raid and being locked out of trials if you don't have your own team it appears that we are getting even less content. I get that there will be lfg and recruitment but as this is ultra competitive we get a bit jyped because of the competitive nature of the event. It's not like a raid that is self contained. I love the idea just believe matchmaking should have been available

I thought we called them try-hards now.

It will be tough just to find a team for people who like pvp but aren't all that good. I'll probably pass on the trials. Looking forward to seeing what prison of elders is like.

1 ReplyYeah, as much as I would love to play Trials of Osiris, i can't see myself getting into pre-made teams. I was really looking forward to standard matchmaking. Get prepared for the "2.0+ kdr ONLY" posts under recruitment.
-
No matchmaking wtf. Guess I'm not soon trials

Most of the people I added I met through regular crucible & iron banner so Ill have some to play with. Problem is, will they be on when I feel like playing? And its on weekends, when most people are either working or are off & have something planned

2 RepliesEdited by Pyro 509: 4/29/2015 7:31:25 PMI think a lot of people will be finding groups on LFG & playing whether they like pvp or not because they want the gear. I'm excited for it personally. I can see LFG for this really sucking though "must have thorn/red death/TLW" or "2.0 k/d or higher only" and of course the elitists "L34's only" - and of course they will be posted by mostly scrubs with below a 1.0 or L30-32's haha

3 RepliesDefinitely a casual PVP player here. I plan on getting two friends and practicing in skirmish so I can be better prepared for ToO.

Don't play PvP anyway so not really bothered... looks fun for those who do though. Feel bad for the ones who could have used matchmaking though.

1 ReplyI'm terrible, so its not about me finding a team, its more im not putting 2 other people thru me crapping up their chances to do well.
-
1 ReplyNot having match making does not bother me. I would rather go into it with a group of my choosing or not do it at all. I just wonder how long the wait will be for another pre made team to show up.
-
Makes up for lack of raid imo. I think i will jizz all over the tv when I get full trials gear
-
I would love to try this as it's always been an ambition of mine but sadly my missus says my penis isn't big enough.sigh.

My raid team is primarily PVE focused so I imagine we'll spend most of our time in Prison of Elders. But I'm sure we'll also take a few spins in Trials as well. My KDR sucks but we tend to be more about fun than competitiveness anyway.
