Dakota sits at the entrance of the hall of guardians waiting for his "teammate" that the vanguard insisted he have. He continues to polish his favorite blades. He wonders to himself... *Why do i have to have this help... do the vanguard not trust me... all I'm doing is just taking out a Cabal patrol thats causing a little trouble... but I guess just have to prove my worth to the Vanguard.* (Open to anybody)

Edited by Straight Fish: 7/1/2015 12:39:00 PMDavid stares at the graves of his fireteam he dug up. After a mission going awry, he decided to pay his respects and honor those who fell, placing thier weapons and helmet on thier graves to give them some sort of identity. Why? Why did they do that? We could've taken cover and slowly clear out the cabal, but they just attacked, head on. I could've even saved them, but I was too scared... What kind of guardian am I? "Well shit, there go another couple of guardians. It's not like we'll need 'em anyways we have loads more." David leaves the scene and goes to Freehold and sits on a ledge to scout on cabal and vex advance.

The Awoken Queen studies the monitor before her. The Guardians are fighting well in her prison of trophies. "They seem to have a special connection with the vex hand cannon of arc and the rocket launcher formed after the Twilight Gap"

30 RepliesLakir had left the service of the Queen. No one knows why, and he's very hesitant to speak about it. But he has teamed up with the Warlock James, and they have become good friends. Even though Lakir is no longer a bounty hunter for the Queen, he still felt like he needed to hunt down the Wolves that survived, or at least the dangerous ones. He was a lot more lenient on determining who deserves death and who doesn't. James and Lakir teamed up and have tracked down many dangerous Wolves, but they ran out of targets. It seems like whoever was left became extra reclusive. James dug through his contacts, but found nothing. It was going to stay that way, until James came up with a bright idea. " Hey, Lakir. Are you familiar with the House of Thieves?" " I've heard the name, why?" " Well I'm pretty sure you know what they specialize in. And logic dictates that a good thief has to have a good source of information." " Where are you going with this?" " What I'm trying to say is, that our contacts aren't good enough. Maybe the Thieve's are. We could ask them for information." " I don't think that's a good idea. Remember what you told me about the battle at the Steppes?" " Oh...... Yeah. Let's hope they don't hold grudges. Besides, it's been some time since that happened, I'm sure they forgot about. Still, to be safe, let's not bring it up." " You're forgetting something else. We have no idea how to get in contact with the Thieves. And we don't know where to locate them." " I already figured that out. Thieve's are attracted to valuables, so we'll send an open long range comm in every direction, stating that we are a hired ship carrying priceless Golden Age artifacts." " And what will we do if we attract other Fallen pirates?" " It sounded like a good idea in my head. How about we put an encryption on it? That'll filter out the common rabble." " I don't like it, but I suppose it's the only way." " Glad you see things my way." After a few minutes of prepping, James set out an encrypted message. Lakir paced around the ship, because he was not happy about the plan. James sat down after creating the message, and waited. The message, in its unencrypted form, stated: This Bravo 7-23-45. We're requesting permission to unload the priceless artifacts at station Xavier-79. Coordinates are 12-65-47. Transmission end. (( Open to the House of Thieves.))

18 RepliesEdited by The Superego: 6/28/2015 1:51:21 PMWarbuilt sat down in the Tower bar a cloak hiding most of his features. It had been so long since he was here and he needed to scout the Tower for his plan to work. Fortunately not a lot had changed and now he was at the bear waiting for a dropship to pick him up as he couldn't take his unique ship into the tower. He had listened to the guardians. Their arguments and stories. So many thought they were beating the darkness. Yet they they were just grabbing its attention. (Open to any guardians.)

Edited by gilded_hotdog: 6/29/2015 1:18:11 AM- the Hunter took it "The Holy Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments," he read aloud from the title-page. "Nor this." It was a small book and had lost its cover. "Nor this." He handed out another volume. The Varieties of Religious Experience. By William James." "And I've got plenty more," The Speaker continued, resuming his seat. "A whole collection of pornographic old books. God in the safe and Ford on the shelves." He pointed with a laugh to his avowed library–to the shelves of books, the rack full of reading-machine bobbins and sound-track rolls.
