What type of destiny PVPer are you? To find out, I've broken down what I think are the most common PVP playstyles at the moment. This is just so the community can see what best to expect in the crucible! Here are my descriptions of each playstyle: [u]The Noob[/u] You are quite new and unfamiliar to the crucible, you use the weapons you scavenged from your travels and decided to check out the PvP side of destiny. You don't usually win games, but every match is a learning experience, preparing yourself for the journey ahead. [i]Also affiliated with the "casul" players, they tend to get a lot of hate from the rest of the community. Frequently crying in the corner after being told to "git gud scrub" they fall victim to the arseholes of the community. [/i] [u]The Camper[/u] Packing a Patience and Time and a scout rifle, you sit at the back of the map, awaiting your prey to line themselves into your sights. Unsure of how to use the left thumbstick, you net the lowest kills but highest K/D, feeling pleasure as your victims enact their rage through hate-mail. [u]The Handcannon[/u] He who aims shall prevail, you have taken an affinity to the Handcannon, gracing the battlefield with your finese and slight of hand. Making every shot count and watching heads role you frequent the battlefield with the Thorn, Last Word or Hawkmoon, pummelling your enemies with an onslaught of unfair advantages. [u]The Shotgun[/u] Having discovered the high-calibre power of the Shotgun, you have cast aside any notion of a primary weapon. You sprint the battlefield, boomstick in hand looking for unsuspecting targets to obliterate with a single shot. [i]Master of the close quarters, the shotgun is sometimes hung up and replaced with a fusion rifle, extending the one-shot party across range.[/i] [u]The Rambo[/u] Machine gun in hand, you scream "Prevail or DIE!" as you sprint into unyielding groups of enemies to eradicate them seconds later. You rush without thought for anything but the mission and typically use Auto or Pulse Rifles paired with Heavy Machineguns to eliminate any trace of your adversaries. [u]The Ninja[/u] Using stealth as an art form, you take down foes with an unyielding finese. Striking without being seen you don invisibility and a tool of your choice to eradicate an unsuspecting guardian. You move when you see a chance, attack seen yet unseen and destroy the enemy forces before they have time to react. [i]Using your unholy amount of map knowledge, you can lock down areas and turn the tide of spawns at your will. Causing the enemies to move where you want them to, funneling them into their demise.[/i] [u]The "Pro"[/u] You use tactical thinking and battle strategy to completely destroy your foes without them even standing a chance. You choose the best weapon for the situation, adapting where necessary and following the plan to the letter. You are the person who goes flawless without exploiting the game, and are best suited to championships. [i]Also affiliated with lesser players wishing to feel good about themselves, the pro is often a guise of the skillless and a cloak to hide their shame.[/i] So which type of PvPer are you? If you feel you are a mix, post the one you have the most affinity to and reply with your combination! If I had to say what type of PvPer I was, I'd say I was a Handcannon/Pro combination.
