[u]Stalker Chapter 1: The Stalkers[/u] [b]Near a heavily fortified base in Yharnam.[/b] Avksenity slowly approached the military base in Yharnam, their weapons on their back and their hands at their side.Soldiers carrying assault rifles patrolling the perimeter along with two watching the main gate. Avksenity approaches the gate. "State your business or you will be shot!" A soldier demanded with his rifle aimed at Avksenity's head."Genetic modifications, do you have any?" They replied. "Yes we do, you need any?" The soldier assured as he opened the large metal gates with a switch."I need a few." Avksenity explained as he patiently waited for the gates to open. "Then follow me." The soldier ordered as the gates opened and Avksemity followed him, soldiers were seen training and performing firing drills near the eastern side of the base while the left side of the base was reserved for medical tents and supplies, a large clinic sat an the north end of the base, 2 large makeshift blast doors for the entrance of the building, Avksenity quietly followed the soldier in the building. "You know." The soldier added."This place is referred to as the home of blood transfusions, genetic modifications may make your life much easier plus they are much more effective." "Really, in what ways?" Avksenity inquired."Well, you'll see after the modifications are done." The soldier explained as he walked over to a table. "Take your coat and weapons off and give them to me." The soldier commanded as Avksenity took their coat off along with their ballistic vest, Glock 17, AN-94, and VSS Vintorez and handed them to the guard."Now, lay on the table, they will be here shortly." The soldier assured as Avksenity laid on the table and patiently waited. Two doctors wearing all white uniforms walked into the room. "Genetic modifications, right?" One of the doctors questioned as they walked over to the table, the other following them."Yes." Avksenity replied as they waited. "Good, well we will have to put you under an anesthetic." The other doctor explained."I'm fine with that." Avksenity said as the other doctor finally made his way to the table.Avksenity became motionless and waited for the needle to pierce his skin, the needle soon met his skin and a few seconds later he was out cold and the doctors started the genetic modifications. [b]Outside of the clinic near the east side of the base.[/b] "Little more to the left." Lilia instructed to a recruit, Lilia wasn't a sniper herself, but from the few hours she collaborated with Avksenity she knew a surprising amount about ballistics.The recruit fired their rifle at the target one hundred meters away and it made a loud ringing sound."Impressive, we don't see talent like this that often." She congratulated. "Thank you." The soldier said as he put the rifle against the wall."Where's Avksenity?" Lilia asked."Oh, genetic modifications, don't ask me why though." The soldier answered as Lilia walked away and sat in a chair in front of the clinic, waiting for Avksenity.

*Jay stood in front of Gascoignes Grave, he was his first friend, where his journey began, he missed those times* *Jay tied his katana to the cross using his headband, he removed his upper gear, Scars lined his torso from his countless battles.* The broodlord. . . *He said tracing the basketball sized scar on his abdomen and the one that covered most of his top right shoulder/neck area* Cobalt. . . *He looked at the crescent shaped scar in the center of his chest* Hadra. . .I'm going to break my promise. I won't see how you've grown since you left, I'm so sorry. *He pulled out Angel and pressed it against his heart, the light burned him as it touched his skin* I. . .curse that i wasn't needed, My entire existence was empty. I'll finally get something right though. . . *He cocked the hammer as the gun began to hum and shine brilliantly*

*Jay sat in an in an abandoned building, he sat in silence* *He let his presence be known, his aura called for kurai but Jay's power felt different, cold, hollow, dead yet alive with grief* *He awaits him*

[spoiler]just a song to go with the fight.[/spoiler] [u]Sovereignity Chapter 3: The Downfall[/u] [b]In the arena of the transport Edith.[/b] Afreet stood on one side of the arena with their scythe in their hands, an angelic figure holding a strange greatsword over his shoulder stood on the other side."You will meet your end Demon." The figure taunted."It will be all over soon enough." "3...2...1... Begin!" The announcer announced over the speakers, Afreet immediately disappeared from sight as the figure got in a defensive stance, Afreet appeared behind him and dug the scythe into his back only for the scythe to be countered. The figure then quickly backed away and several projectiles flew at Afreet, 6 missed but one hit their right arm causing it to be burned off completely."Like I said, demon, you will die today by my blade." The figure assured as Afreet sheathed their scythe and the arena grew foggy. "And who will say this isn't a sacrifice."Afreet questioned as the fog turned into fire, incinerating the figure and charring his armor."I could say this is the day scum like you will die." The figure replied as the fire was somehow extinguished.The figure's sword was then covered in a strange aura and he split into multiple clones. "I am not equal to anyone you have faced, I could kill you this second if I wanted to." He continued."And I will." He added as all of the clones charged at Afreet and pierced their chest, all of the attacks connected and Afreet fell to the ground as the clones disappeared."Tell me, do you cherish your existence?" The figure inquired as he drove his greatsword into Afreet's neck. "Of course you don't, no such thing as a noble demon." He explained as he took the sword out of their throat and stabbed their lungs."May you suffer the worst."He muttered as he walked away with the sword still in Afreet's chest. The entire audience was in shock from the event, some crying silently over the death. [b]two days later, near the forest of Yharnam. [/b] Soldiers stood around Afreet's grave in the outskirts of Yharnam, Alcazar walked to the grave without being questioned and kneeled at the grave as the soldiers all saluted, wether they were siting Afreet or Alcazar is unknown."Tell them when I get my hands on them they won't see the light of day again."Alcazar quietly exclaimed."But you'll be back, I'll bring you back my dear Ariona."he continued. "It's a shame." One soldier said as he walked over to the grave and placed flowers on the grave, Alcazar turned to the soldier. The soldier backed away in fear of being attacked by Alcazar."Would you let me keep the body?" Alcazar asked. "Sure." A soldier sadly replied as they all slowly walked away back to the Edith.

[/b] Afreet sat down at a table in the recreational room of the Edith, 4 other soldiers sitting around the table aswell, one holding a deck of cards."Afreet, have you heard about the recent discovery in Yharnam, about the strange soldiers?" The soldier holding the cards asked while handing everyone two cards."Yes, I've experienced it firsthand, they were set ablaze." Afreet responded as they looked at their cards and quickly put them face down, the other soldiers doing the same. "I've also heard that Afreet is a demon." A soldier piped in, Afreet shook their head in disapproval."Will you shoot me if I say yes? Afreet inquired, the man holding the cards put 3 cards on the table face up and Afreet grinned under their helmet. "No, we won't." The dealer assured, one soldier put his cards face up and pushed then forward."Folding this early?" Afreet jested. "Yes, terrible cards." The soldier replied, the dealer put another card on the table."Well since you ask I am a Demon." Afreet explained, the entire room went silent for a second. "J-just don't kill us, okay?" A soldier stammered as he pressed a few buttons on a number pad."I'll raise I guess." He added, Afreet laughed hysterically at his action. "I won't kill you, not unless you try to kill me." Afreet replied still grinning under their helmet and the dealer put another card on the table."You know" Afreet continued."I might end up winning." All of the soldiers pressed a single button on the number pad and the one that folded left at the response. "You are going to eat those words." A soldier exclaimed.Afreet held back a laugh at the reckless actions of the soldiers."And yet you go all in at a bad situation." Afreet joked. "Turn your cards face up." The dealer ordered and everyone put there cards face up, everyone gave a surprised look in Afreet's direction. "Afreet wins with a royal flush." The dealer announced.All of the soldiers pressed another button on the number pads and they all left including Afreet. "Afreet is cheating!" A soldier behind Afreet yelled, Afreet simply kept walking away and to Alexi's office.
