Bungie already said cheating has no excuses. Action will be quick and justified.

He was attempting, and thought he was in the process without guilt, also showing fans, to cheat.

Please show me where it says he was rewarded. I've been hearing this all day and yet none of you people have proof. People helped him to get his guardians back up to level, but I have yet to hear anything about him being given fate of all fools except from all the jealous people on these forums. Now we reward this kind of behavior. And we wonder how people can grow up and swindle elderly people out of their pensions. Sure what happened sucks, but I'm sure there is someone out there with a serious medical condition who is playing destiny for a release and they don't get a damn thing. That's a little better reason to reward someone, not a kid who tried to cheat.

Why would they reward him? I could care less about him trying to cheat, but handing him back what he lost as a result of being ignorant is his own fault. That would also mean that Bungie is breaking their own rule.
