When you put on 100 resilience Bungo sees it that you prefer for Bungo to go re-silent about how poor they actually are at balancing the game! OK bad joke but oh so true! [b]Community (for years):[/b] Thorn needs a catalyst. [b]Bungo:[/b] Here you go a Thorn catalyst. [b]Bungo balance team:[/b] Now that they are 'about' to have a Thorn catalyst plan your nerf for it before it releases. And why you're at it find anything else that will benefit the player and nerf/patch it too. Plus just to be safe make the God killers weak like a dead baby by buffing all enemies with OP shields, guns, mechanics. [b]Bungo analysts:[/b] Hmmm player counts are WAY down now. We don't understand why! We need more player hours. Nerf everything for the Guardians and buff everything else so it takes them 3 times as long to complete anything. And then make them do it 5 times more then before, before they get what they want.

8 RepliesSadly, that's how Bungie wants the game to be.. You have to stack 100 resil with being max power level, stack damage resist mods for the things your fighting, with healing, with damage resist passive buffs, very intentional evasive movement.. and then you'll still die instantly to some projectile that went right past you and didn't hit you. Bungie doesn't want the casual player's money or playtime anymore since they "brought challenge back" and basically killed casually playing this game, and they nerf everything because of people that no-life the -blam!- out of this game and min-max and stack every possible buff and debuff, and have perfect god-rolled artifice armor and OP crafted raid weapons.. Seasonal content is now also end game (The Coil, because -blam!- casuals more. You can't do GM level content? -blam!- you! You get nothing!) Hence why they missed revenue by 45% and are losing players still.. My recommendation is to abandon ship.. There are better games out there. I only play like 1 day a week now and that's literally just to do the dungeon with my 2 friends.

Sorry but it never amounted to anything really the power has been a joke since d1. Bungie doesn't know how to make an RPG game that works.

Shocker when playing 16 hours a day. Obviously they can outmanage every layer of difficulty. Great achievement. Bungie literally catered their entire cringe "bring challenge back to destiny" agenda towards 24/7 playing elitist content creators. And theres literally no arguing against it. Sadly the vast majority of players hates it yet Bungie doesnt care apparently. Keep losing revenue then, makes me happy :)

The new difficulty focus does kind of make the light level system redundant though. You used to grind to become more powerful, now it simply serves as a grind gate for access to higher level content. Your power level isn't going to give you a benefit in a lot of the content, it's just gonna limit what content you can play. It was such a BULL--blam!---blam!- move to add power caps to virtually almost every activity now. There’s genuinely no point in grinding past 10 levels now on your artifact.

1 ReplyWelcome to Bungie's idea of fun and engaging game play. The bad guy can kill you in one hit with 100 resil unless you have these perks on your weapons, and those mods on your armor. Obviously based on the number of difficulty complaints and the 45% miss in expected revenue, bungie is doing everything right! Right?

Don't forget all the resist mods and forced level capping in regular activities. One tapped by a scorn crossbow from behind that rock a hundred miles away

Depending on the content you're light is forced capped wich may result in lower defense and damage output

Cause Bungie cant do an RPG level game right. Halo did great because it was all weapons nothing else mattered. Destiny has a level system which Bungie just doesn't understand how it suppose to work
