  • I get what you mean but John is the “father” of half the guns in the game and he and another programmer stated it very clearly during an interview in which they explained what intrinsic perks were in every frame. Except adaptive which they said was the only frame that had no intrinsic perk. They said it in an unequivocal manner.

  • I see the TWAB (perhaps) as more a clarification. This is what they said [Quote] Do Aggressive Frames have High-Caliber Rounds baked in? No, however, the flinch from a single shot is proportional to damage, so high damage per bullet weapons will flinch more than low damage per bullet weapons. [/Quote] So even if it isn't "intrinsic", it's as good as due to Aggressive frames intrinsic high damage per bullet. The other possibilities are they were wrong initially or they've changed it since D1. I think they meant it in the sense of it effectively has flinch built it.

  • On the same show they revealed the intrinsic perk for every frame except adaptive which they said was the only frame with no intrinsic perk. They were super specific about the coding for hi-cals, revealing that; They're weakest head-on in a duel, They hit harder from the flank or "in the side of the head", They hit hardest of all from the side and whilst you and/or your target are moving. So they told us that the coding for hi-cals is very specific.
