What kind of asinine bullshit is it to hold off the final exegete lore? FFS AT LEAST -blam!-ING WARN US SO WE DON'T WASTE OUR TIME.

It does say “Help Eris Morn interpret ALL the messages”. So it can’t complete until we have heard them all. I get the frustration, I was looking forward to not having to run that mission ever again!

6 RepliesDon't listen to any of the haters. It is totally valid to be frustrated at spending an hour or more grinding a quest and not get rewarded correctly for it. Bungie has no respect for our time, but by this point, we should all understand that truth. They are an MMO developer, after all, and keeping you grinding forever is FAR more important to them than giving you meaningful content to play.

Time gating is all they have. They can’t make quality content that would last like they did in d1. So they have to lock it all behind a timer to drip feed the minimal content so it lasts

So many bungo apologists in here lol a waste of time is a waste of time. And easy could of let us know about the delay. But they didn’t cause theyll do anything to keep people in the game even to just waste time. This late in the season the only reason to do the quest is the lore. Luckily I saw these posts before going too far into it. But the umbral traces were gambit based this week. At this point anyone that got suckered into the quest this week should be entitled to emotional compensation lmao

I agree. Like put it in the TWAB. Sure I got a pinnacle drop, but they really are not going to matter next season. Being 1065 won’t give you that much advantage compared to 1050.

4 RepliesThey should have timegated the evacuation quest until Nov 3rd Do you know how awkward it is for all these vendors to say goodbye, and us evacuating the planets but for the next 2 months nothing will change Ana is coming to the tower with Rasputin , that is a huge lore relevation that shouldn’t have been revealed until the last week of the season
