Iron Banner Light Level broken AF
This season is one of the worst I can remember since im in this game.
Since this game went F2P it turn into bigger garbage that it was (crucible speaking)
Getting one shot killed by light levels 910s against me 982 is a joke. And that is happening every second round...
And no, im not a noob.
Either there is more and more cheaters (which will tell and most of the playerbase) or light level is not working as it should.
Because getting one shotted all the time by a 70+ difference in Power is not a small difference.

You’re probably just lagging and it looks/sounds like a one shot. Relax and shut off the game for a bit or do something else. I had a streak of three absolutely horrendous matches last night where I literally could not kill anyone. I went from getting regular kdr of 2 or higher, even as high as a 13, right down to under 1 as everyone had a better TTK than I. I could land successive shots with last word and their health wouldn’t go down at all. Then I would die and if I was lucky they would die after that. It’s just weekend + IB + event lag.

At home on my lan connection there is very little funny business. At my mom’s for the holidays is a different story. Even though her Internet is very fast, it’s Wi-Fi and the television I am on has a shitty refresh rate. All these things matter.Console cheating is pretty rare. Exploiting lag is not as foolproof as some people think.

3 RepliesI'm positive Momentum Control has broken pvp ttk... Ever since that god awful mode has been in the game I've been one shot in almost every other game... It's not confined to iron banana either, I play mostly comp and if I didn't know any better I'd say LL is enabled across the board. I have numerous clips of being one hit killed from full health by the most random guns :/

As I was 850 in the last IB. Level advantage is on and effective. Was a pain in my ass until I was about 920. Iron Banner now at 970. Is a breeze. May I suggest you take your time think about your moves and not run down death hallways 🤔🤯🤷. Play smart you can smack every enemy in the face while you're at it. Are they going down the hallway? Don't go that way 🤔. Is there focus in that direction? Run around and flank them from the side they will hate you forever. Are they using dumb guns?(any one shot Bs) Use your abilities and map work your way close and pounce. You got this

3 RepliesThe pool of players in any one pvp mode is pretty shallow most likely your playing the most dedicated pvp'ers left and not the newbs that your used to.

5 RepliesIt's 4% difference for every 20 levels. Meaning 20% for 100 levels So even if you have a 60 power difference, a Sniper with 320 precision hit damage will kill a normal Guardian which is 186-201. a 20% decrease of a 320 headshot is still 256 which is still way over Guardian hp. with me at 800 vs 980, that's a 180 level difference, meaning a 36% decrease of 320, which is still 205 damage vs maximum guardian hp at full resilience which is 201. Meaning my lowly 800 powered Guardian can still OHK you, a 980.

1 ReplyI thought the light level difference affected how much damage someone lower light than you would take, not how much damage they do. For example, you might be able to 2 tap someone a fair bit lower light than you, but if they shoot you in the face with Lord of Wolves, you'll still die.

Easiest way to tell if LL is working? Shoulder Charge an opponent. If they survive with a bit of health then you know its working.

light levels only really come into play on how fast you're able to fill your bounties no real reason to be above 950 if you're the highest LL in every match you're doing it wrong.
