Is The Traveller the Only Source of Light?
Title says it all. Are there other sources of light in the universe, are they not mentioned in the lore? It seems that since the pyramids are [i]the[/i] forces of darkness, if not just simply the avatars of it (like guardians). It just doesn't make much sense (to me) that in this war of god like entities that our little floating egg is the only source of light.

It will continue to make and radiate Light for a long time to come (obviously unless it’s destroyed and consumed). However there are other [b]artificial[/b] sources created by the Traveler. These sources however [b]are not[/b] original sources and can fade out. they also don’t have he same capabilities as the Traveler The gift Mast radiated with Light and was consumed by he worms once the Eccumene was destroyed (might not be that specific race. Can’t actually remember). Io also radiates Light which can be somewhat harnessed as Asher showed in the adventure on Io. Guardians/ghosts are also sources of Light. The ghost is imbued with the Traveler’s Light which is projected into the guardian who harnesses it.

I feel like the traveler channels light to make it easier for people to use, you don't need the traveller to use the light, but it's incredibly difficult without...

The Gift Mast I guess can’t really be considered a source, but it contained the Traveler’s Light. It was a source to the beings that lived near it, so I guess it’s an “artificial” source, not the original?

As far as I’m aware, lore wise, there is no other known source of light mentioned other than the traveler

Edited by Midnight: 2/26/2019 7:25:53 AMMultiple exotic armors talk about the planets (Earth, Venus, Mars, and their moons etc.) have power and that we, from what I gather, just forgot about it and/or we didn't know how to harness it at the time when it was more commonly believed. Not sure if it's light or dark (my guess it's either neutral or truly on our side unlike the Traveller, which we assume is because it gives us multiple lives and powers to harness) but worth looking into further to see if that's what you were looking for. I'm very interested in this exact question so hopefully we keep this thread alive.
