I did it like hundreds of times yesterday and I watched a few YouTube guides which felt the time interval is much longer than mine. And the worst part is every time I shot its hand it still kills me half second later. Is that I'm being too old for this?

1 Replyi had some issues. don't know whether it was the sensitivity on my controller, that i'm actually ON a controller and they obviously are designing stuff for M&K anymore, or that i'm just getting old and my reaction isn't quick enough. i had no problems with the 1st and 2nd encounter. but when the 3rd guy is there, i'd hit the 1st 2, but couldn't get a bead on the 3rd before dying. until..........the order they spawned was L, M, R. i think by not having to go back and forth and instead just going down the line, it made it easier. got it done the first time they spawned in that order.

3 RepliesI seemed to have moved through the mission too quickly causing it to glitch. Every time I failed a draw (I ignorantly kept shooting it's face), I had to backtrack to the beginning of the section to ensure that the plate would trigger again. Once I beat it, I was not awarded. I had to climb all the way out of the pit (thank you Stompees!) and kill myself in the darkness zone above. I had to complete the entire top encounter as well as all subsequent encounters again, but it did progress properly.

It takes ONE bullet per enemy. Don’t spam the trigger. That wastes time. You can ADS(aim down sights) if you need to. Shoot them in the order they appear. Keep repeating this. You’ll get it.
-
3 RepliesIts actually pretty straightforward. Took me three tries. 1. Don't hipfire....aim down sights. 2. Shoot opponents in the order that they spawn in. 3. Shoot their gun hand.....not their head. 4. Put TWO shots into their weapon (that's all you need to incapacitate them) then move onto the next target. That's all there is to it. The only reason it took me three tries is that I wasted the first two thinking I needed three shots instead of two.

After I figured it out (died once), I got it on my first try. You just have to be quicker. Learn how much to flick the analog stick to be right on the hand/thorn. Just another thing that is easier the more you play. I play on 7 sensitivity on console if that helps
-
I gave up after numerous attempts. The gun isn't worth the effort anyway. I learned the hard way once before with 5 resets for Redrix. I'm not going to waste more time on TLW.
-
I was trying to hipfire and failed several times. Then I tried ADS, and got it the first go
-
Edited by Slevi: 2/1/2019 9:28:41 PMYou didnt have to hipfire You could have cheated and ADS ahead of time. Also, perhaps your sensitivity settings were too low or too high?
-
Took me 22 tries. A few times it counted and still killed me. Thank goodness that’s over

It is definitely the hardest part. Everything else was easy. Crucible took no time and the other steps were easy to grind out on Titan. The Enkarr part is purely based on your reaction time and possible connection speed. I felt it took some time to get use to. I made it to the last phase just about every time but it was always a killtrade on the third to shoot. It felt really good when it was finally done. For those having trouble, there is enough time to shoot 2 rounds off at each target. I started by just shooting one off per target thinking it was like an old western. The last word is designed for quick shots.

Check your connection to ensure you have an open NAT. On the XBox is your NAT is moderate or strict you can choose alternative ports to make your NAT open. This sounds like a lag issue. It took me about 5 tries to get it.
-
Took me 30 tries lol. I couldn’t believe how long it took me to beat it lol. Definitely the “hardest” part of the whole quest
-
Hardest, probably (I dunno, once my dumb ass realized we were supposed to shoot the gun, by looking it up because I really was that dense, it took me one try). Longest, the 25 medals. I think they may have taken me longer than the rest of the quest combined for me.

1 ReplyOn a side note,look closely....Enkaar is holding Thorn!!!!
-
I agree with you. I ended up moving my look sensitivity from 3 to 5 and finally beat him. Glad that’s over.
-
Finally got it, it seems a very unnoticeable latency is the main issue for a console player.
-
5 RepliesThe trick with Enkaar and its clones is to ADS. You have plenty of time to switch from one target to the next. But if you don't hit the glowing gun, you're dead. ADS and you get a clear bead on the glowing gun.
-
7 RepliesTried about 50 times, could not get the last guy of the three. This could have been a really cool last mission, but they choose to make it really anoying and repeat repeat. They could have left us with a "cool, awesome mission!" But instead we get a bad taste in our mouth with "-blam!- this, anoying bs"
-
I figured it out around my 15th try, ADS for the encounters, and the order they pop up is the order to shoot. Hip firing in these instances is just a no go, ADSing makes it so much easier. And it only takes 1 bullet
-
Ok to your video, on your second death with two Enkaars, as you moved from first one to second, you stopped for a very little moment (it's still enough delay) on his body and then shot his arm - sadly thats death. When you kill one you must directly move your aim to another Enkaars arm and shoot immediately. You can preaim - just aim with your gun, hold square when LW is ready and then shoot first guy. Then still with ADS go for other guys. As I said above, your aim must be precise and quick. It could be frustrating, I could swear I did it all in time for my 15 attempts, but hope the 16th is it.

1 ReplyEdited by Cryptonomicron: 2/1/2019 5:24:35 AMI had a hard time because as soon as the draw indicator hit 100 I would start shooting only to see the target was still immune. So I would continue shooting, only to be shot by the third guy when I had to reload. Eventually I realized I needed to wait for a beat. Success came by shooting the target when I saw him begin to draw, at the instant he began to move. That's what worked for me anyway. Good luck. Btw I'm going to be 57 soon, so I get the diminished reflexes thing. Edit: just watched your video. Seems to me you are doing exactly what I was describing. I am wondering now if your sensitivity is too low? Maybe increase your look sensitivity up a little and see if that makes a difference.

2 RepliesI finished it yesterday and the game glitched out and the mission wouldn't end. I ran back through the whole thing thinking I missed an enemy somewhere. Nope, game glitch. Had to go to orbit and do it all over again. One Tip -- Don't hip fire unless you are good at it. Aim and you can nail the gun. Also, are you aware of the order to shoot them? You shoot them in the order they spawn. Apologies if you are aware, but FYI in case you weren't. Best of luck!
