Shotguns
This one is for you Bungie, please when you tinker with weapons again, please don’t listen to the majority on the forums, because they don’t know what they want. You listened to their demands on vanilla d2 and look where it got you. A lot of people aren’t going to like this (but it’s the god damn truth and you gotta deal with it), but listen to what streamers say... and btw you’re doing great with it so far, so just keep ignoring the average forum complainer because they aren’t thinking straight. How can anyone with any kind of level of intelligence say that running around with a 1 shot kill weapon when you’re rushing a guy trying to hand canon you in 3 or 4 shots is skilful? And then what happens in this current meta is that you rush and kill him and get more special ammo from his dead body, to go and do that over and over again! Get the -blam!- out of here man. I get that it’s fun, but it’s massively unbalanced (Snipers too, and fusions to some degree) there are many different kind of players in this game, there are many different styles of play yet in order to do well currently, you either equipped a 1 shot kill weapon or lose. Might as well just take all other weapons out of PVP and just have Snipers, Shotguns, Fusions and Heavy because that’s all it is right now. How and why Bungie allowed players to spawn with special ammo again boggles my mind

Streamers helped get us to D2. They got a shit tonne of stuff nerfed in D1 and they were happy with vanilla D2... Get your facts straight.

6 RepliesYep, shotguns are fine. Use a sidearm or fusion rifle and play at a slightly longer range. You can shut them down pretty consistently.

7 RepliesShotguns are fine making PvP more versatile and fun. I would appreciate an ammo drop reduction, but it’s fine the way it is. Grab a shotgun too and whenever someone is dumbly rushing at you... “show them the true meaning of war!”

Erentil fusion rifle or telesto melts rushes via shotguns. I hear smgs and sidearms do this as well. But I suck with those guns so I tend to take the fusion route.
