Remove clan Redeems worlds first record
Okay, i understand there is a lot of opinions on this...Here’s mine
Cheating is a big word thrown around, in my opinion cheating is the use of an unfair tactic or trick to gain an advantage (Example being hacking)
Clan Redeem did just that, they abused the in game system and thus made their run a lot easier....Their increase in power level made it easier for them to complete encounters
Higher level=More Damage=Less time=Unfair advantage
i’d like to see bungie reply to the people angry at this, and honestly can you blame them? Worlds first should be based more on skill and less on using glitches and exploits to gain an advantage
I hope they get their title removed

16 RepliesIf Bungie doesn't care to keep things legit then what's the point of having "worlds first"? Hell, what's the point of having any event like this if Bungie says it's okay to cheat to win? Personally, I don't care who did it or how they did it. What I do care about a bit though is how Bungie just showed how much of a liar they actually are. Not that they haven't been lying for a long time now but this time they put it right in front of everyone's face, basically saying (we don't care.) This "we don't tolerate cheating" as Bungie has said just got thrown out the window and they don't even see it. They just showed they support it by allowing this to slide and are telling gamers that if anything like this comes up again. Have at it because we won't do anything about it. Gee, if that is what you call lead by example, I guess I've been doing it wrong my whole life.

While agree they didn’t get it fairly, they still got it using something that every player had access to, to take it away now seems extreme, they did it, it’s been done move on, but for future worlds first they need to punish things like this because like you said it gave them an unfair advantage. Plus I’m sure they know themselves that it’s a tainted title.

5 RepliesI don't care about their first completion. What I care is that I made all power engram bounties, got legit prime engrams, and still was not power level ready for the raid. The thing is: either leveling is broken (thus, streamers used glitch) or Bungie should have waited another week to release the raid.

1 ReplyWho cares? It's a freaking video game ffs. I don't remember who cleared any of D1's raids first because it's NOT IMPORTANT, at all. It's not going to get you a job, or a scholarship or a girlfriend. Because, once again, it's only a video game. If you, or anyone else, genuinely cares you need to get off the internet and get a life.

Bungie will not change their decision. They tilted the odds in the favor of streamers and got the result they wanted. Bungie doesn't give 2 shits about you, me or anyone else that doesn't advertise this game for them. That's the bottom line, and Bungie's actions say it louder than I do. Play the game knowing Bungie will bow down to streamers or don't play the game. World's First is meant for streamers not "casuals", and Bungie makes damn sure of it.

You should know by now that nobody from Bungie will ever answer any questions abiut that mechanics glitch. DeeJ and Cozmo have both dropped to their knees on Twitter in front of those guys.

Last i checked, everyone has access to doing the prime engram exploit and/or grinding out crucible levels. Redeem did both of these. The only thing preventing someone doing either of these is a lack of skill or being stubborn. Which category do you fall under?

I think it’s funny that these posts seem to forget that all the teams going for worlds first were not policed by the community in the days leading up to the raid launch. Both redeem teams finished inside 24 hours, dattos 3 mins late. Do you honestly think someone on dattos team didn’t once try to farm prime engrams or open that raid chest early. Everyone who had an actual chance would have to had done the prime farm to have enough light level, you are clearly very naive to think anyone would have finished the raid had they not. I suppose worlds first vog completion should be removed because of the loot cave? I don’t think anyone who plays this game can say that when presented with a chance to gain an advantage either by loot cave, coil ammo bug, prime engram farm, house of wolves chest farm for keys that they haven’t used it. Let’s be real, none of you were getting worlds first and that’s probably why you’re all so butt hurt about it. The fact you all know bungie made it too difficult for low light players took all hopes you may have had and the only way to vent is to hate on clearly the most successful and efficient team who happened to get it done.
