We LOVE destiny. There is no skipping around that fact.
We are a passionate playerbase that only wants the best for this game and for bungie as a company.
Destiny 1 opened doors that i never even knew existed in a video game genre...but Destiny 2 slammed many of those doors shut again.
Destiny has so much potential, its a mile wide but only an inch deep.
We aren't angry with any of the developers personally, we are just frustrated because we know Destiny 2 could be so much more than what it is currently.
Just know Bungie that all of this noise coming in your direction comes from our desire to delve deep into your game...you just have to let us.
Work with us and the game will build itself.
Edit: The angry comments really are concerning. I'm shocked how quickly this community is turning on itself.

Not everyone here, but definitely me.

I love this game, the universe is fantastic and I just wish bungie would add to the fun rather than only cater to the pvp balance nonsense. Let me use my abilities more and have fun.

1 ReplyEdited by Muka Gatals: 11/29/2017 4:14:32 PMTrue...!! If we don't love it...we just leave silently. Why would we spend our energy to complain here if we don't like Destiny? It the same to other relationship in life. This game has tons of potential...but D2 is moving to wrong direction. Destiny strong advantage against other FPS like Halo is the Weapon mechanics. But instead enforce the advantage..Bungie keep nerfing it..!! Make us not able to use it...like small ammo per mag, mixing special and heavy, watered down all gears/weapons. All of these just because PVP Balancing stupidities. Its destroying PVE and Destiny in general. They need to separate PVP from PVE. I don't buy this game for PVP. PVP is desert...PVE is the main entree.

14 RepliesEdited by ScotchEggsRules: 11/29/2017 1:45:41 PMDon't be surprised. Silly little children, brought up badly, by millennial parents, who can't articulate without stamping their feet and making empty threats. They're comedy gold.

1 ReplyAgreed. Destiny 2 has essentially turned into COD for me. Really no point hanging around once the campaign is completed. Experience has taught us that Bungie will listen to feedback. But there are so many issues its going to take a while to patch. My expectation at the moment is that the game will not be sorted till a big patch around next September.

I don't know about love...there were times I hated the game more than I feel neutral about it. Destiny's that one abusive bitch that insults you and attacks you, but you stay with her anyways.

you children have no idea what love is.

2 RepliesLoved...I used to love what Destiny was. A lot of preterite there and for good reason. Game is dead, studio in full damage control. Good riddance. I’m out. No more dullars from me, Bungie and Activision. Rot in hell and die of cancer of the eyes,,shitheads. -blam!- your garbage studio

4 RepliesNo, we don’t love Destiny. I love the idea promoted back before the original ever released. I love the promise of what could have been. I was expecting the first FPSMMORPG, and Destiny did not deliver. It was advertised as an FPSRPG, (from the creators of Halo, hell yeah!) I loved that idea, but the game delivered fell far short. In all of Destiny’s lifespan all it has done is make me hate the Destiny Franchise and the hollow shell of what Bungie used to be. So speak for yourself when you say we love Destiny.

4 RepliesIf people honestly LOVED the game as much as they CLAIM, they wouldn't be calling the game "shit" and "boring" and threatening jobs and insulting developers. That's what you tweens don't understand. That isn't showing love or passion. Maybe you need loved more in your lives before you start using words above your comprehension level.

In D2, the overall dumbing-down of the game and removal of any meaningful endgame has caused this backlash. I don't agree with a lot of changes made to D2 from a "this is how the game works" point of view - but everything would have been OK of there were meaningful things to do. and meaningful stuff to GET. - Heroic Strikes: I know these are coming with Osiris DLC - but will there be modifiers to make it fun, or strike-specific loot to make it, worth doing past being fun) ?? - Hard mode: raid gear, with raid specific perks, not only color changed. Weapons what were locked into the hard mode, ie the only way to get X weapon is in the hard mode. - Random weapon roles: or keep the fixed roles and give us a mod system that is not so useless). - More crucible playmodes: Put in Rumble, Rift, Combined arms, inferno, mayhem - stick all the fun stuff and game modes into its own 3rd playlist - with 6v6. How about private Matches ?? I think there are solutions to these problems and I hope that Bungie realizes sooner rather than later that there were things at the end of D1 that should have carried over to D2. Things that would have made it a lot more fun. Is D2 a BAD game, NO - but there is so much potential wasted and it should have been so much more. Do I feel bad for getting it, or the DLCs - NO - they're all paid for months ago. and I will play when there is actually stuff to do or get.

2 RepliesNo matter how Bungie "fixes" D2, this toxic community will forever be exposed for what it is. Toxic. Bungie clearly isn't the only one with communication issues! It's obvious they've handled the release of D2 poorly thus far, there's just NO excuse for how pessimistic & vile the playerbase has shown to be... We've witnessed EA change course with BF2 over the controversy with microtransactions, Ubisoft dropping yearly AC releases in favor of better quality, Activision and Call of Duty... okay maybe CoD isn't a good example of changing for the better (even if WW2 setting is new again) but you see the pattern here! Companies DO listen to feedback eventually, or right away if it's delivered EFFECTIVELY. Man up. Voice your valid concerns like an educated functioning member of society. Move on. And hope for a response/ change. This is how the world mostly works. Bungie is handling this game like an ongoing consistently evolving universe as it always intended, so let's keep the communication open and productive to help facilitate the changes we want!! OR we can continue to bash, belittle, and resentfully begrudge our favourite franchise only for the developer to turn it around thru eventual updates and leave those who created hate forums and desperate discussions to look like crazy maryters who sacrificed their own self dignity and respect for a "better" game...get over yourselves. We're better than this. Or maybe we're no better than the Bungie we so desperately love to hate.

finally someone said it! I LOVE DESTINY, that is the only reason why I am mad and frustrated but more sad to see it falling slowly away form me :(

4 Repliesno way fuk that i'm angry with Puke smith. that jack ass destroyed the game I loved. I still love this game but i feel like that battered wife that takes her man back time after time. Luke smith did this to me. I was touch by the darkness! it happened and I wont hide it any more, the darkness touched me and I didn't give conccent. Any parents out there? have you ever felt disappointed by your child for any reason? that's how this game makes me feel, I love it and know it can do better but right now it's so very disappointing.
-
You got some of it wrong. While some of us are angry because we want a better game, others in the past week have either blamed casual players, the pvp players, or thpse who have cheesed something. Then they go and ask for specific changes to improve their experience, when all we want is universal updatres so everyone can enjoy themselves
-
PREACH IT!!!!

I love the idea of a co-op RPG looter shooter with PVE/PVP. Hate the idea of treasure boxes that contain anything other than cosmetics.
-
nahh -blam!- that -blam!-... these -blam!-wits fluked the first game and showed their true colours with the release of D2...

4 RepliesEdited by Sernik: 11/29/2017 3:19:02 PMI'm not mad at developpers. I'm mad at the suits who made the decisions. They are so obtuse, blinded by greed and a stubborn obsession of thinking they are always right. They are service providers and their service stinks right now. The community is more mad at the fact that they don't listen to us than at the state of the game itself. If they would simply acknowledge our concerns in a timely and concise manner and be forthcoming with their plans. Not this "we are listening" garbage rhetoric It's an insult that they only started to listen now that dlc sales are in decline

I'm frustrated because I value my time and money

2 RepliesEdited by shirley timple: 11/29/2017 2:23:52 PMThat's just it, though. D2 ISN'T destiny. That's the crux of this issue. D2 is a hollow, dumbed down shell of destiny. Entire systems were gutted so more mouth breathing kids would spend money on an easier to understand game, THEREBY, giving us the game we have now. Apple or Orange? Pink or Blue? Competitive or Quickplay?

Edited by Ziggy0011: 11/29/2017 3:02:36 PMDestiny has always been about grinding to progress. Don't listen to the whiners that want everything easy and then stop playing the game.

I love destiny 1 and I still play it but I have this inside feeling of "there's a new one so this game is bad and outdated" when really I think destiny is better than "destiny" 2
