IB is awful
Every single game dominated by lag and shotgun suicide runners and campers... worst I've seen it in a long time.
Edit: to add insult to injury the news update has a picture of a guardian with a matador aimed at you. Seriously??
Edit: you would think with millions of players all paying $30+ at minimum for this product and considering its general success, that bungie could afford a modest 10 story high rise in downtown Seattle to house dedicated servers for their game??? Hahahaha...

Dedicated servers won't happen in Destiny 1, it would be way too much rewriting netcode Aside from a NetDuma router, theirs nothing that's going to fix iron banner for you.

36 RepliesYou know how they fix special weapon problems? Crates drop once a match and only once a match. Any weapons that regen ammo or spawn/re spawn with ammo have those perks disabled in PvP, including the perks that refill mags when a super is activated. Screw nerfing just straight up remove available ammo for special weapons. This will either force chumps to use a primary or every scrub will be running UR.

It's halarious, people do that awful stuff like camping any way regardless what monthly IB activity theme. It would be totally different and interesting if Destiny offers us a different type of game mode where gamers are required or forced to play in constant motion given a certain set of weapons similar PvP version of Unreal Tournament or Doom. But, with Destiny its all about the loot and show-casing the OPness of those guns (exp. cleverdragon). Destiny 1 is winding down regardless, I just enjoy the game for what it is now.

I enjoyed IB a lot this week. It's the only time I get to play 6v6 with a full fireteam. I experienced almost zero lag and I actually like sweaty competitive games so I was fine with it. Drops were absolute sh*t though.

Then don't play iron banner? Plus adding servers to a game that's basically over is a waste of time effort and money. Sure we'd have a better game for a short while but by the time we actually got these dedicated servers destiny 2 would probably be out very soon. The gear from iron banner this cycle isn't anything special either, but if you must play do what myself and my trials friends do, we finish our bounties as normal then all get 2 kills and basically go afk for the remainder of the games, we get rewards and put in minimum effort

I used to be like you once, but then i stopped caring and just played for the fun of it. Guess what? I had a lot more fun, and to top it off, my shot gun skills have improved greatly in the process lol. Still not the greatest, but i sure as hell guarantee you i have more fun than anyone here complaining about "metas".

Stop moaning and deal with it ! Everyone else has the same situation as you when playing IB so either change your play style or don't play IB at all ! I only play IB for infusion fuel so at least i get something out of it. Pvp is not for me. Like i said, deal with it or don't play at all.
