Just a quick question, do you fashion souls this game or is stats everything? I personally like to focus on making my characters look good as a priority while maintaining decent stats. It's just a game and I want to look good.
If you've got screenshots of a good looking guardians post them below. I'm constantly inspecting people with cool armor combinations.
I'm personally proud of how my warlock looks, I'll post a screenshot later.
Edit: wow I went to sleep last night with this post buried and woke up with almost 50 replies! I love hearing all your opinions and I've been checking out your characters all morning. To bad the app can't really show off the true glory of your guardians.
Edit 2: over 100 responses! It's really interesting seeing how how the community leans
Edit 3: ha ha I was excited to see the 50 replies this morning, and now it's approaching 300! Making bad ass looking guardians has always been a fun part of the game, and I totally relate to those of you who grinded certain activities to get that one piece of dope armor.

My Hunter's gauntlets and helm are both inferior to other armor, but they look SOOOOOOO good...

Edited by Howard MoonXLII: 1/17/2017 9:58:09 PMStats only, my characters don't look great as a result. I hardly ever see them though, this being a fps and all, so it doesn't bother me much.
My warlock is especially ugly. 4/4/4 split though.
Fashion over function.
mandatory "😤😤😤😤😤😤"
Half and half. I want 300 int and disc but I want the full RoI book set.

2 RepliesEdited by VR GUILE: 1/17/2017 6:34:01 PMMy hunter Tier 12 and themed after the Hawk. Every armour perk meshes perfectly with my preferred loadout of hand cannon, sidearm and sword. Even my weapons are colour co-ordinated with my armour. Take a guess what I run in the primary slot.

10 RepliesEdited by Dogcowmd: 1/17/2017 8:26:36 PMIdeally, both. I am willing to give up some bit of stats for style, so long as it does not drop me below a tier 10 build. If I can be stylish AND functional, that is the best. For example, I typically like to run scout rifles and fusions. My current Voidwalker build remains stylish (at least in my opinion), keeps a tier 11 build, and adds extra fusion ammo and fusion loader perks. As an added bonus, my boots give extra rocket ammo too. I try to max style and stats and avoid too many "useless" perks. For what it's worth, the app does not do many of the shaders justice...

Edited by TBone4x: 1/17/2017 7:51:30 PMI try to get a blend of both, the only sets I use/keep are the ones I like and can make tier 11 both with or with out an exotic armor piece. Check out my characters for examples of what I mean
-
Always looks in this game.
-
Ideally you could have both but when faced with one or the other I'd rather keep my build intact before I worry about looking cool.
-
I've managed to put together sets of armor for each subclass I like to play as that look good and have tier 11 stats. Sure it's not the best it could be but it's close enough and looks good too.
-
style baby. cant be killing anyone looking like a mixed matched kangaroo. haha
-
I'm all fashion unless I raid. I have a separate armor set for that.
-
Intellect is my first priority, then I focus on looks. I'm a Sunbreaker.
-
The Beauty of the character matters way more to me because its what Im going to be looking for hours on. I dont want to look at something I dont appreciate.
-
Stats matter more to me. Tier 12 builds on both my warlock and my Titan. Tier 12 means: On my warlock 5 intellect, 5 discipline, 2 strength for 12 total tiers. On my Titan 5 intellect, 4 discipline, 3 strength for 12 total tiers.
-
I like to make my charactet look good first then grind for better stats of the same stuff
-
5 RepliesI go for looks primarily unless we're doing a raid or Iron Banana. Being said, I dont completely throw stats out the window; I generally go for a 4/4/3 if I can, but luckily enough I have one outfit that looks incredible and is 5/5/3 so, cheers.
-
I got really REALLY lucky for a while, getting cool looking gear for my warlock and it has the roles I want, so I have both and I'm very grateful for it.
-
Tier 12 on all, can run 5 different exotics on my Hunter, can run 5,5,2 or 2,5,5 on my warlock using all 4 exotic gauntlets and 5,5,2 on titan with the 3 exotic chest pieces.
-
I went through the trouble of getting the full set of Queen's armor on my Titan. I think you guys can figure out what I voted for.
That Biotch had sweg
1 ReplyFashion with a tiny bit of practicality. I'll use either exotic gloves or boots on my Warlock, but the rest has to be a matching set. Grenade tits for my Titan and a matching set of either Trials, Stellar, or Specter gear. Exotic helmet, gloves, or boots for my Hunter with a matching set of Trials or Iron Banner gear. What's the point of going into battle if you don't look good doing it?
-
4 RepliesI infused all my Warlock gear (except gloves) from WotM into other gear. The boots... man they're awful looking! And the helmet!!

Spaceman all day

Remember my darling and don't be a schnook. It's not how you feel it's how you look.
